Leather T-Shirt & Fitted Jeans. New Look 6230

I've been seeing these leather t-shirts everywhere. Did I say I've been seeing them EVERYWHERE. I wanted one too lol.

This look is a little different for me. I saw a quote earlier this week that said something close to, if you never try it you will never know. Look for a LOT of new things from me. Woohoo. Excited lol I remember when I wouldn't wear a strapless dress lol then one day I TRIED IT lol

When I was pulling this look together I kept thinking this is soooooooooo different for me but I'm going to go for it and have fun with it!

 I wanted to more of a casual look. Didn't want to dress up the t-shirt too much so I kept it simple with skinny jeans and my new favorite shoes.

I didn't wear many accessories. Just a sparkly statement necklace, a couple of bangles and my favorite stud earrings.

Most of all I had FUN wearing it and with my photographer ;)

For those of you who sew, here is a review:

New Look 6230

Pattern Description: Knit baseball shirt has feminine fit, can be made with banded round or V-neck & 3/4 or long sleeves.

Pattern Sizing: 4-16 I cut the 10


Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?

YES!
Were the instructions easy to follow? They are SUPER easy.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I loved the style of this shirt.


Fabric Used: leather like fabric on the front and ponte knit on the back and sleeves.


Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Oh yes. I'm DEF making this one again. I HIGHLY recommend it if you like this style shirt.

Conclusion:  Great pattern and very well drafted. Pick it up and add it to your collection!
