Pattern Description: Misses dress
Pattern Sizing: XS-XLG
Pattern Sizing: XS-XLG
I cut the medium
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Mainly.
Were the instructions easy to follow? I didn't follow the instructions. I saw a dress somehere (need to get better about saving my inspiration pictures lol) and my mind immediately went to this pattern.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It was VERY similar to my inspiration dress that I can not find now lol.
Fabric Used: Silk Charmeuse
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I loved the print of my fabric and didn't want it broken up on the front with the princess seams that are on this dress. I re-drafted the front of the dress by sewing together the front and side pieces. I then did a tissue fit to make sure it was going to work. It did so I went with it.
Also this pattern calls for a zipper. I omited it and I'm able to slip this over my head without a problem.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I probaby will make this one again. I absolutely LOVE IT.
Conclusion: Great pattern. I hardly EVER look at Connie Crawford patterns because they almost ALL look horrible and shapeless. When I first started sewing someone taught me to look at the line drawings. I've had this pattern for EVER and I'm so glad I saw past "Connie Crawford" and saw the design lines on this one.

Here are some additional pictures:
No heels required for this one. I can walk with ease and not have to walk holding up my dress. I pulled my dress up just to show my fab gold sandals lol.
I LOVE this dress!
This is soooo cute! Love the blowing in the wind pic! I LURVES (did I get this word from you? -lol!) me some charmeuse! Very pretty!

You did an awesome job on this dress. I love maxi's and may consider this pattern. I too steer away from Connie Crawfords. I do not like her patterns because they are frumpy.
Thanks for the reveiw, it was so helpful.
