I recently fell TOTALLY in love with gingham:
So I had to have a dress lol
Pattern Description: Dress: close-fitting bodice and slightly flared skirt has bodice variations, back zipper and is below mid-knee length. B: contrast band, tie belt and purchased flower. C: tie belt. D: purchased ribbon and bow trim. E: purchased ribbon bow.
I made view A
Pattern Sizing: 8-14
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
YES!
Were the instructions easy to follow? I only glanced over them. They seemed super easy.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Loved the simplicity of the pattern.
Fabric Used: Cotton
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I think this is a great basic to have. I may use it again when I want/need another simple strapless dress.
Conclusion: Super quick and easy dress.
My hair is in a bun until I decide what to do with it. I'm >< this close to cutting it ALL off.
That's all I have! Have a great day!
Toodles!
Toodles!
This dress is so adorable. I bought some gingham fabric last week. And have just seen the top pattern that is perfect for it. Excited lol.

Super cute! Love it!!! It looks great paired with the bright "spearmint green". Is that the proper name of the color? Anyhow it really is cute. And trust me, I understand the hair dilemma. I'm tempted to do something drastic with mine too;)

Pretty... pretty dress ... it looks fabulous on you... love the seafoam accent. I am also trying to decide if I should go short again

I like the minty green accessories like Victoria Baylor. I think Wallee figured he had black and he had white so he could pose, too.

Such a great dress. It flows so beautifully on you, and it reminds me of the picnic dance scene from Pajama Game in its vintage sort of flair.

What a gorgeous dress! Also love the shoes and bag too! Not sure what color to call it so I'm keeping my mouth shut, LOL! You know what they say...women who have hair don't want it and those who don't have hair want it! I say do whatever makes YOU feel good! Good luck with you decision and glad you're sewing again!

Beautiful dress and accessories. The kitty is a nice touch. Another good pose could have been with you holding the kitty. His color blends well.
