Yes I did scrap! LOL We will get to that a little later.
This weekend I took a quick trip to Atlanta...I make that drive SO quick now lol. It's insane lol. I was back home Saturday by 1pm I think, so I was there and gone real quick like lol.
I had lunch with my awesome tweeps lol. I introduced them by their twitter name and my brother was like Oooooooooooooooooook? lol It was too funny lol. YES I know their real names lol.
We had a great lunch at Fox Sports Grill even though they didn't have the nachos Lisa wanted lol.
I left there and did some shopping with the kids...
I acted a plum fool in Gail K fabrics like I ALWAYS do when I go...I buy pretty fabric. I hardly EVER buy fabric with a pattern in mind. It does happen, but not often. I just buy fabric that's pretty and bring it home lol.
Later that evening I had the PLEASURE of meeting the one and only Lady Lee!!! If you click the link you can read her take on our meeting lol. She is HILARIOUS. Meek and mild my booty! LOL
She is SUPER sweet and made me THE BEST COOKIES OOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGGGG They were SO GOOD. I have a few left and I am NOT sharing. PERIOD. WITH ANYONE lol.
She gave me some super special stuff that is going to GREAT use lol. I had a ball! She doesn't take too many pics and post online but if you look on her a little closely you can see a couple lol.
Here is a pic of our food though:
LAWD. That's about all I can say...except for those mushrooms lol.
Nowwwww LadyLee has been a blessing to me. I've said that before but she REALLY has so I wanted to make something for her to encourage her:
It's a really simple Scripture mini album. She loved it. I was soooo glad.
Y'all know I haven't scrapped since I tried to do that mini album of Patrick for Tony. I just couldn't and I stopped scrapping all together. I think this has me to where I want to start again, and I want to work on Patricks album again for Tony.
Alright, that's all I have!
Toodles!
Sounds like you had a great weekend with friend ,food and fabric ! :)

I like Gail's too, but those prices always keep me in check. I only use them for something special special

Lovely album! I did an album for a cousin who passed away and it was the hardest thing. I kept putting it away and coming back to it. It took me a year to complete. It was so hard to enjoy the memories while still mourning...which never ends. It just gets easier...a little. I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir on that one. Now that your scrap mojo is inching back, I know you will have a beautiful album in Patrick's memory in no time!

What a fun weekend you had! Man... I have so much backlog for scrapbooking, too. You're album is great... hopefully it'll help me kick start my mojo, too. :)

What a great weekend! I'm glad you're scrapping again. The last couple of projects I completed were gift albums too. I think I'll do some more gifts and then chronicle our adventures this summer.

First I must say...dedication.I have never seen=A0a blog that has gone back as far as your with such detail and consistancy.I got your name from Butterick. I loved many of your postings and will say that I havent read them all. I really liked the
blouse you made and many others. I dont sew but my daughter does. She goes to Stephens College for fashion design and been sewing since she =
was 12. Your "attempt" was very nice. I dont scrapbook but use the paper to make journals. I do have a creative side of making jewelry, journals, note cards and keepsake ornaments.Sometimes I wish I could sew clothes but that didnt work out too well. I will just be my daughters test subject.
I wish you the best in whatever you do. I dont usually contact people this way, but it just hit me to do so.

She SCRAPS!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!! Love the mini album. As for Patrick's album, take your time. Do a little at a time, take a break, work on something else, come back to Patrick's album, work a lil' more, and take a break. Take your time!!!
And, uh, where's the fabric pics from Gail K's???
