Well there are THREE new additions lol.
Two of them you will learn about today lol
My LONG awaited baby!!! LOL
Copied from the singer site lol
Singer CE-150 Futura Sewing & Embroidery Machine
A REAL life picture lol.
*swoon* I am going to be in HEAVEN!!! LOL
I seriously can not WAIT to play!!!!! I have wanted an embroidery machine for I KNOW the past 2 or 3 years. Lisa can tell you that lol. EVERYTIME she posted one of her gorgeous embroidery projects I was ready to buy a machine lol. We went back and forth FOREVER on the different ones out there and what was within my budget and what not lol. I finally decided on this one lol.
I have even found a yahoo group specific to this machine and there is a TON of information! I've been reading for DAYS lol.
Do you all know of any good embroidery websites!? ESPECIALLY ones that offer free downloads lol. WIth all the software I got AND the fact that I can use ANY image/font to create a design...I shouldn't EVER have to buy one any lol.
Sooooooo ready to play!!!!! LOL
Next addition???
Singer HD110
Copied from the singer website lol
And a real life picture lol
Don't know why I did that lol. Just fun lol
THIS will be the workhorse. To keep all the wear and tear off of my "main" machine lol. I plan on doing some home dec stuff, FINALLY, and I will use this machine to get it all done!
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!!!! YAYAYAYAAYYAYAAYAYAYAYA
Ok, that's IT for me! I'm about to go PLAY!
Toodles!
Yay! Congrats on the new toys.

Why, why, why???? I don't neeeeeeeeeed an embroidery machine! No. No. NO! I don't even LOOK at embroidery blogs because I'm weak, weak... I tell you. You know I HAD to check out Lisa's blog. Now, I want to make/embroider napkins and towels. Okay, I'll stop whining :0 Enjoy your new toys!!!

Love that embroidery machine! That other machine really does look like a workhorse! I saw that one at Jo-Ann's the other day and was surprised that they had such an industrial-looking machine there.

Posted by: amber | December 08, 2009 at 03:37 PM
Great new additions to your sewing family! And I understand your attraction to embroidery...even though I don't do that much of it...I am including it in the upgrade of the new machine.
Now you have to find space for the new thread, stabilizers, hoops, books, etc.!!!
Posted by: Carolyn | December 08, 2009 at 03:52 PM
Umm Miss THing
When we discussed machines you did not say anything about that Singer HD (yes I am hating) I am hoping Big Poppa will get me the embroidery machine for Christmas since it is on my list. Now I am gonna put that Singer HD on the list.. You are such a bad influence.. Take pictures of the work you do with the CE

Hi, Adrienne... I'm Jackie and I'm a member of the Futura group you joined. I saw your blog listed in your post and just had to check it out. I think you'll love your Futie. I have the 150 and really love mine, though it's been almost a year since I've used it.
I see you have the Singer Heavy Duty machine, too. I have one of those and it's a good strong machine. Doesn't do a lot of fancy stitches, but it sure goes through just about anything without a problem.
Your blog is great! Have fun with your new machines and you new kitty. See you on the list.

Wonderfulllllllllllllllllll

Congrats on the new machine. You asked about free embroidery patterns. Another good source is http://www.embroiderydk.com/. You can get free designs, and also pay a $6 month fee for full access to all of the designs on the website.
May you have many days of Happy Embroidering!

Congratulations! I have a brother emb/sewing combo machine, I am looking for an affordable machine to sew while I am embroidering. I order designs from emblibrary.com the stitch quality is great.
Posted by: NurseByrd | December 09, 2009 at 08:49 AM
That sound you hear coming down I-20? That's me hating on you!! LOL! You are going to have too much fun. I would be homeless if I had that embroidery machine, because I would always be calling in sick to work to stay home and play with it.
Posted by: toni | December 09, 2009 at 09:28 AM
You are about to have tons more fun with your new toys. Just promise you'll still peek your head out of the door to let us know you're alive & well. lol

WOOT! Good for YOU, girl! Have fun with your new toys.
(Oh, and am I crazy, or did you get a new Singer a couple years ago? Did you trade that one in? Just making sure I've still got my marbles.)

Posted by: Nik | December 09, 2009 at 02:40 PM
Enjoy your new additions... I'm getting off right now... b/c I am afraid if I stay any longer... I will end up with an Embroidery machine...lol
Posted by: sheila | December 09, 2009 at 02:42 PM
I have the Singer HD110 the main thing I noticed was the regular presser foot. I had to buy a new one because the little bar in that holds the foot to the machine kept coming out while I was sewing. The machine sews really fast. Congrats on the embroidery machine.
Posted by: Delia Wilson | December 09, 2009 at 03:18 PM
Congrats on your new additions, hehe. I'm drooling over that HD10!
Posted by: Dee | December 10, 2009 at 07:33 AM
Awesome. More toys for you to enjoy. I hardly know anything about sewing but I suspect that you will continue to create wonderful items.
Posted by: Don | December 10, 2009 at 11:06 AM
TWO new babies! And it isn't even Christmas yet. Have fun, fun fun.
Posted by: Elaray | December 10, 2009 at 11:51 AM
Congratulations on the new toys. I have the HD110 as well and like it alot. The buttonholes are easy to do and better than those with my Kenmore. When I was contemplating my first invisible zipper, I found a review on PR that said this machine had the best invisible zipper foot. My very first invisible zipper was soooo easy ! Enjoy - I think you'll like it ! :-)

Very nice! I know you are going to be rockin' both new babies. lol

Wow!!! I know you're excited. I saw the Fedex guy and knew that goodies had arrived for you!
Posted by: Cheryl | December 11, 2009 at 01:36 PM
I remember when we had a conversation about you wanting an embroidery machine. I like your final choice and have put it on my list. I already have a work horse machine. It a Brothers straight stitch machine from my mother. It was her first sewing machine back from like the 60s or early 70s. My dad had purchased it for her. It was the sewing machine I learned to sew on so we're very old friends. I hope you enjoy your new additions.

Posted by: don | December 15, 2009 at 12:18 PM
I'm late to the game but Congrats on your new 'babies'. ;) I thought about that second one, but I was sooo angry at Singer for their zipper foot fiasco I decided I would never again give them any more. I don't know if I'll still feel that way if I were to get my hands on a vintage workhorse machine, but that's yet to happen, so we'll see. :)
Posted by: LaBean | December 16, 2009 at 09:22 AM
Look at you! Congratulations! Beautiful new toys.

Hi Adrienne,
congrats! I love machine embroidery! If you check out www.brothersews.com you can download free designs, also www.berninausa.com has free ones. Did you get pedesign software with your machine? I ask because I have a pr620 and pedesign8(small embroidery business from home), and it's really good software. I think the other site I'm thinking of is www.embroideryonline.com I know they have awesome designs, not sure if there are free ones though. And of course, the crackhouse of embroidery designs www.dakotacollectibles.com A flash drive + a paypal accout + dakota collectibles is not a good combo for me! :) but it's all good! have fun!
