SUPERB!!!!!!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this pattern! It is now a TNT!!!
Fabric Used:
Lightweight denim
Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made:
NONE!!!
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I plan on making this SEVERAL times over! I LOVE them! The fit is fantastic!!!
Here are the pants flat...
Hook and eye closure...
Inside. I LOVE the way they had you finish off the inside. I've not made pants that used bias tape that way, nor was I aware of it but I will always do this on the inside of my pants now.
Outside pocket...
Inside pocket...still using that left over seersucker lol.
Here is a close up of the pants on me. I need to do a pic like this with my jeans too. Well all the pants I make, but they all fit like this lol. I LOVE the wide waistband. LOVE IT! I will make these several times over. I LOVE THEM!
Pattern Description:
Very loose-fitting, pullover tops A, B, C, D have elbow or full length
raglan sleeves (wrong side of fabric will show), carriers, self or
contrast sash and shaped hems, neck is finished with purchased bias
tape.
Pattern Sizing:
XS-M
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?
I didn't use them.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I loved this pattern.
Fabric Used:
Silk Chiffon
Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made:
None
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I doubt if I will make this one again but I highly recommend it.
Since I'm not very familiar with french seams I pulled out my copy of Cool Couture by Kenneth D. King to walk me through the process lol.
I love the way it turned out!
The neck...
Neck binding... I glanced at the guide sheet long enough to see that they wanted me to just encase the neckline inside the bias tape and sew it down....umm NO. That would look odd, so I did it my way and I'm pleased!
I used my treasured rolled hem foot for the hems lol. LOVE that thing!!
I LOVED working with this fabric! It wasn't bad AT ALL. Making those jeans REALLY gave me some confidence because I just jumped right in with this top! LOL I feel like I can make anything now lol.
Alrighty yall, that's all I have!
Have a great Monday!
Toodles!
I love the pants they look cute. Um but can you slow down I am trying to make the pencil skirt from a few posts back.

And now I have to buy more patterns. Sigh. The trousers -- fantastic and that shirt is too much. I actually turned up my nose at that pattern -- how stupid is that? Now I sent it made up (fabric is killer) and I can see how wonderful it is. I may have to start checking in with you to see what patterns you're thinking of buying so I don't miss out. I could stop copying you, but I don't think so. LOL!

I love the pants and love the idea of using seersucker for the pockets. Hey, there is nothing wrong with using up leftover fabric. The tunic top is fierce and love the pattern on the fabric. Are you planning to make the pants in a seersucker fabric because I think it would great too.
