There are not many words right now that can express how thankful our family is for your kind, kind words.
This is probably the first time that I haven't replied to all my comments, but I just can't. Tony and I read each and every one of them.
THank you for all the emails, text messages, cards and phone calls. It really meant a lot to us.
Even though the funeral is over, it's still hard to believe. I don't know. We have never lost anyone that was THIS close to us. This is still hard and we still miss Pat and love him dearly.
The services yesterday were just beautiful. Simply beautiful!
Anyway, I have a lot to share so hopefully I will get on the ball soon with my blogging lol.
Who knew, there could be so much love in internet land. You guys are great.
Thanks again.
Toodles!
Here is a virtual hug for you guys. Ya'll are in my prayers..
P.S. Happy Mother's Day Adrienne

Happy to see you back also. I figured that it's been really hard for you and your family the past few days and you were dealing with everything. Still thinking of you all and that God comforts you and especially your kids.
Happy Mother's Day!

It is very funny that people read your blog daily and virtually becoome prt of the family because we share opininons and laughs and ideas along with the yeah's and neah's for sewing but we are glad your are back. Now it is time for the healing to begin. From what I have read from your blog your crafts and family are yur healing tools take advantage of that and continue on. Never forget your friend, just remember the times you guys have shared and know you and yurs have been BLESSED by his life and the part he played in it. Keep praying and know your strength is there. I am definitely an avid reader. BE BLESSED.

I've been thinking about you...I hope in the days to come you will find healing, strength and love in your memories...a healing, strength and love that will carry you... I also hope despite the deep sadness you've experienced that you were able to enjoy a blessed Mother's Day with your children, your husband and your extended families.
Bless You,

You have been in my heart and my prayers. Three years ago I lost a dear friend to lung cancer two weeks before Mother's Day. She was 35 years old and the divorced mother of 4 children. I cried for days. I had started taking a crochet class the day of her death. I have the blanket that I made from that class on my living sofa and I call it the "Kristi Blanket." When my thoughts go to her I ran for that blanket and give it the hug I can't give her. I know that may sound silly but it my why of holding on tho her. You and your family do whatever you need to to cope. Bless you and Joyous Mother's Day.

You are welcome. The hardest and most lonesome day is when the last person leaves the house because that is when the grief sets in. I lost my mother almost nine years ago and although I found a new normal, but it does not mean I do not miss her any less. I appreciate the time I had her in my life.
Happy Mother's Day!

(((Adrienne)))
I understand I have had two close bestfriends pass away and I enjoy the memories even in tears. One has been gone 11 years and I still cry at times then laugh at her craziness. God does comfort.
