Is growing up. We were in church one Sunday and he told me he wanted to be baptized because God want's everyone to be baptized and love Him.
He was baptized on May 3rd.
They grow up so fast. I just want to teach them the right things so they are ready to go into the world when the time comes.
Toodles.
Out of the mouths of babes. You're doing a great job of 'raising up a child in the way they should go....' Be blessed.

This is a beautiful post that brought tears to my eyes. In a time when so many young people are trying to do the opposite of what is right/good, it is such a joy to see a child that wants to please God. I see that mama and daddy are doing a great job at.."Train a child in the way he should go..." Proverbs 22:6. God Bless!

That's really nice! I like the idea of kids being able to choose to be baptized. In the Catholic religion it's done when they're babies so there's no choice involved - I like it much better the way you do it.

Being Catholic, I think I was just 1 month old when I was baptized. There's a lot to be said for making the decision for yourself. Congratulations AJ !

YAY!!! I LOVE when kids make the "grown up" decision to get baptized! Although it's great when adults do it too...but when KIDS do it, it just goes to show that we're doing our job as parents and the kids are really listening and absorbing the TRUTH! What a blessing. Congrats to you too, mom!
