- I don't know how I feel about this new typepad format. They are always changing stuff.
- Why is it that people with vanity plates that say stuff like QTPIE, or Cute1 always look a HOT mess!?
- I am LOVING my BB 8900.
- I have worked everyday for the past week and a half. Well except Saturday and Sunday. I feel like I have a REAL job lol.
- I took some tylenol pm the other day and just SLEPT. It was a good sleep.
- Aj went fishing with my dad and came back with a rash and a gazillion bug bites.
- I need a cleaning service to come in and help me catch up. I didn't do crap I didn't HAVE to do all last week.
- I slept SO late this morning. I gotta go to bed earlier.
- Tony is still sleeping but I refuse to wake him. He hasn't rested much at all.
- I am slacking concerning my kids summer plans. Gotta handle that TODAY.
- I am learning that I don't know how to grieve. AT ALL.
- All of a sudden my hours at work aren't "working out" ummmm hmmmm. Can't wait to see what comes of this.
- I was sick as a dog today...then Kayla threw up EVERYWHERE. ugh. SO Glad my closet door was closed and she didn't get my shoes.
- I cut out a pattern and balled up one of the pieces before I finished cutting it out. OOPS. Had to iron that bad boy.
- Kayla just threw up on the floor. UGH. Glad my fabric was out of the way.
- Just finished cutting out another dress and getting it ready to sew tomorrow. I am loving my wovens. Don't worry. SOMETHING in a knit has to come up soon lol.
- My mom left her gravity feed iron on for THREE DAYS. Said she forgot it was on O_o. Don't burn the house down Donna lol.
- Budget billing is GOOD during the winter months. Not so much during the summer.
- There is a BIG difference between a 36C and a 38B. I'm just sayin lol.

Amazing how they never can make it to the bathroom....or try.
I feel you on the cleaning service. I use to think it was crazy, but I have been contacting people trying to come up with something. It seems like the more I clean the dirtier the house gets. I just dont have time. Maybe I might just pay my mother to do it.....

You have NO idea how much I missed hump day ramblings!

Oh Lord! I hope Kayla and AJ are okay.
Who says there's a right way to grief? Cut yourself some slack. Everyone's experience is different.
A cleaning service should come standard with every home purchase or rental. I'm just saying.
Iron ON for 3days!!! Whoa!!!
Please sew something. All of my sewing stuff (well all my stuff) is packed away. I need inspiration :):) to unpack all those bang boxes. How in the world did I get all this stuff?
Take care and keep your head up

This may sound like ramblings:
Why are hours at work not working?
I got a chuckle out of AJ coming back from the fishing trip with a rash and bug bites. It's so typically, little boyish. I miss my little boys.
It's not hard for me to believe that you aren't good at grieving. People with busy minds usually aren't good at it. It may be a blessing in disguise.
Slacking on summer plans? Adrienne, you are hardly a slacker!
I feel you on the cleaning service!!!
Congratulations on AJ's baptism.
Keep smiling, keep strong and keep sewing.

I agree on the 36C/38B comment - I love when the chicks at Victoria's Secret try to tell you crap like this. Um, I know I wear a 34B - I do not want a 36A or a 32C.

ROFLMA about poor Kayla. I once lost a really great pair of pink UGH boots that I had gotten for my birthday 3 days earlier when we all had the flu one year. Sigh.
BTW, whatever Typepad is doing, it's working for me. Your site comes up 10 times faster that it used to.
And I didn't comment earlier, but I was so sorry to hear about your dear friend. I hope you are all okay; you've been on my mind.
Take care!

Gonna do an intervention with you and the blackberry. (I'm saying.. a little addicted)
I hope Kayla is getting better since you got her sick.
I am with you on the grieving thing my girlfriend died on Christmas Day and I still have not cried. I actually keep forgetting that she is gone.. I was getting ready to call her the other day.. Her number is still in my phone

I feel your pain on the sick thing. My 24 year old was sick last week and threw up all over the familyroom floor. Thank goodness for the carpet cleaner.

I hope your baby girl gets to feeling better and I'm glad to hear that you guys are getting your rest on!

Hope the kids start to feel better soon.

I'm sorry to hear about the kids.
You're grieving just in a different way. It takes time sometimes to recognize it. Take it one day at a time. Tony sleeping is probably catch up from all his internal/external grieving from Patrick. You too. We all don't grieve the same.

OMG...you sound like my sister. Her 5yo started throwing up out of the blue one day, and she pushed him away from her so that he'd miss her shoes. It's funny now, but I talked about her bad.

Grieving goes one day at a time. Jake it as it comes, and always remember the good times.
Poor Kayla! Kids usually throw up everywhere but the best place. Had one in the library, at the bathroom door...as soon as I turned the knob, he horked all over the picture book collection. Good times!
I've been slack, but I'm back(but is that a good thing??)

I've been off line for a few week, I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
On another note, I may be calling on your techno knowledge - I've made the leap from Nokia babe to the Blackberrycurve and I feel totally out of my depth - may have something to do with my contract provider, but that's another story!!
Please take care, you look fab in your photo's - keep going each new day will bring you a bit more peace.

I haven't noticed any new changes from Typepad recently. What are you experiencing?
Posted by: Kristi | May 13, 2009 at 06:21 PM
Try Melatonin to help you sleep and journal writing helps. Grief counseling will be good for both of y'all but especially Tony. I just want to give him a big hug.

Grieving is very hard on me too... I know, I've been there.
Glad to see you're back with hump day ramblings!

I don't think any of us is good at grieving - and who would want to be, given the practise it requires? I'm so sorry for your loss; please try be good to yourself, at least as good as you'd be to someone else who was grieving, hmm? We're so much harder on ourselves!
