- My kids love Alvin and the chimpmunks. I'm actually sick of them.
- I started following a bunch of local folks on twitter just to see what is going on around the city. So far so good. Might actually like this lol.

- I have gotten SO MUCH BETTER AT SAYING NO! y'all don't have a clue.
- I need to go buy a flower pot and some potting soil to replant this peace lilly that Patrick mom gave me. Im going to do my BEST to take care of it. Y'all know I don't do living green stuff in my house right?
- Did y'allk now crush is STILL alive!?
- I can not function without a list. I've been like a chicken with my head cut off ALL DAY LONG.
- Jaelyn got all her little privileges taken away. PROBABLY until school is out. She messed up BIG TIME. lol.
- I tried to re-open communication with someone who I felt did me wrong. You know giving them the benefit of the doubt. AGAIN. Age doesn't equal maturity. So oh well lol.

I feel you about the cookbook. Someone gave me a Rachel Ray for a housewarming. Man I do NOT use that book, all them damn pages and not nah a picture - oh wait, they drew some shit in there. GTFOH. I mean out of all the books to give someone you chose that. Well um, it is not being used.
Feel you on the openning AND closing of communication.
Girl did you see Hugh nekkid...well his bum. WOW. Wolverine is one of my fav Xmen.
Jaelyn will love your for punishing her....maybe not so much now, but later.

I love to read your ramblings. They crack me up...and I agree, I HATE cookbooks that have NOT NAN picture. LOL!!!!!

Did you say "nan"? LOL. I agree with your cookbook comment.

I've tried to open up communication with someone a few times and got shut down - I just figure if it's meant to be, their heart will open up. I feel good knowing that I did everything I could, at least.
How are you regretting the decision to knit the tank if you didn't even start? I'd say put it aside and wait to start it til you really want to.
Living green stuff doesn't happen in my house either.
One of my friends thinks my husband looks like Hugh Jackman, then tells me she has a huge crush on HJ. Um, huh??

I just started following local people on Twitter this week, too. Including a city councilman. Although I hate it here and want to move as soon as possible, I really need to know more about what's happening.
Cookbooks without pictures make me want to punch the author in the face (I feel that strongly about it!)
Posted by: Toni | May 20, 2009 at 10:36 AM

Hey
I love spongebob and watch it everyday. My favorite episode is the one where he and Patrick learn a new word.
I am not gonna ask what Jaelyn did but I feel bad that she is punished for so long.
lmao on the knitting thing.
I don't buy cookbooks without picture how I am supposed to know what the food should look like.. Try Tastespotting.com instead.. all pictures

Great list!

OH, I am so glad that I am an ADULT!
Posted by: Cee | May 20, 2009 at 09:40 PM
LOL @ not NAN picture.
All your kids got up the 1st time you told them. Mark this on your calendar!!!! For Real.
Age doesn't equal maturity. Sad but oh so true.
I'm so glad it was 40 degrees this morning. Unpacking boxes is hot work. 40 degrees felt really good.
Take it easy and stop doing whatever it was you did to make the iron fall on your back.

Hey there! I gotta tell ye, I really enjoy reading your Hump Day Ramblings. You make me laugh sometimes. It's almost as if I can HEAR you saying all this stuff...you know, randomly like :-).
Enjoy the rest of your week, my friend.

You have really been on my mind lately. Hope things are going well. I am learning in my old age to "reach out" when someone hits my mind like that. BTW, I LOVE cookbooks with pictures. Especially those taste of home ones. Of course, I never cook from them. But the pictures are fabulous.
