SOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much....where in the WORLD do I start!?!?
Friday I headed over to Atlanta...
You know what?!!? I forgot to take a good pic of what I got lol. I'll have to take one and post it this week.
I met Carla and just had fun touching all the fabrics lol.
After I took a QUICK power nap I met with the fabulous Fergie
She picked me up from my brothers place and gave me this lovely bottle of wine...ummmhmmm can't wait to break it open lol
We headed over to The Strip and had a fabulous time!
Hey, what was the name of that sauce?!?!?!?! I can't remember lol.
I had such a great time with you!!
Saturday. Talk about system overload!!!!
STITCHES WAS AMAZING!!!
I didn't really know what to expect lol. The only thing I DID NOT LIKE was the fact that you couldn't REALLY take pics inside. SO much interesting people and stuff to see!!!
It didn't really become real to me until I parked next to a car that had the tag "K2TOG" LOL I got REALLY excited then! LOL
I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad to FINALLY meet Robin We had a BLAST! She was such a good tour guide lol, and fun to hang out with. I was sooooo giddy and just silly the entire time lol.
Either I am TALL (which I'm not lol) or Robin is SHORT lol which she is lol. She is soooo nice and has soooo much knowledge about all things yarn and knitting. Just amazing!
I got soooooooooo many compliments on my green gable! Made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! LOL
Soooooooooooo what did I get!??
I went with this project in mind....
This gorgeous Orange LOVE Bamboo Fibers & Silk. This stuff feels SOOOOOOOOO good. This will be my first project from Custom Knits. It will also be my first time doing cables lol. I CAN DO THIS! LOL
I have NEVER purchased a pattern book for ONE PATTERN. But I did this time. I fell in LOVE with this top!! I was even able to try it on! SOOO cute. I hope I can do it justice lol. The yarn is Berroco Palace 50% Merino wool 50% Silk.
I KEPT walking past this booth. I LOVED the knitted sample (seeing projects knitted up is a WINNER!!!! LOL) I loved that!
I broke down and got it lol. Here is a link so you can see the top better...
The yarn is Silk Noil. This feels soooooooooooo good.
Guess I'm figuring out I love silk and bamboo yarns lol.
This one is for a special project to be talked about MUCH later lol
That's it for me!!! I guess that's enough huh!? LOL
Y'all have a good one!
Toodles!
U mean u weren't at the scrap etc. event this weekend? Wasn't it this past weekend? Well, looks like u had a great time!!! ;-)

. With all that you have from stitches, you had a great time. Happy knitting! That yarn looks fab. Bamboo yarn is nice, I purchased some bamboo/cotton yarn from Lionbrand that is nice and soft. I think you will like soy yarn as well

I love Gail K and doing that "digging" around for fabric finds. Wow...Stitches! That must have been an awesome experience and seeing all the yarns and colors in one place. Okay...I'll stop drooling over your yarn purchase. lol!

Wow! I love the yarns you chose! I haven't tried the silk & bamboo yet, but I have at least felt of it. So soft and perfect for summertime weather.
