- It's safe to say ya'll like the ramblings huh? LOL
- I will post these once a week....MAYBE lol.
- I'm FINALLY finished planning Jaelyn's bday party on the 28th. YAY. Today is Feb. 5 lol. (I type these out during the week lol)
- Jaelyn is PICKY. Wonder where she get's that from. *whistles*
- Why don't people get pedicures in the winter? Don't your feet still need to look cute when it's cold? MINE DO! LOL
- I just noticed that I have like 6 spools of red thread. I don't know why.
- When do I need to mail these invites out? My mom said a week before, I say two weeks...Like mail them them this week. Maybe Friday?
- I REALLY don't know what to get Jaelyn for her bday. She is a good child, does great in school, doesn't give me too many problems outside of a little "attitude". Hmmm
- OMG, I AM ABOUT TO HAVE A TEENAGER IN MY HOUSE. OMG. *WIPES TEARS*
- I have the best little close circle of friends.
- When I think about how blessed I really am, I get a little teary eyed.
- I stayed up until after 3am on the phone and sewing. Had a good time lol.
- Sour Cream and cheddar chips are my favorite.
- Kayla was sick over the weekend with a fever and just the ick, but she is better now.
- I love fresh fruit.
- My sewing mojo is on overdrive.
- I had one bad project that I threw in the trash lol.
- J Hud did WONDERFULLY last night! LOVE HER!
Ok, I guess that is all. Nothing that interesting this week! LOL
Ya'll have a superb Monday!!
TOODLES!!!!
Love the ramblings.. and I am copying you in scheduling drafts for publishing! Thanks :) Why didn't I think of that earlier ? :)
A teenager? (Mines turned 13 in November) Gotta love it! I still can't believe how much time has passed! Have a good one!

Ditto on the pedi in the winter. Then they wonder why their feet can climb trees! Work it out year round. I hate ugly feet. You can do it at home - oh and vaseline can be your friend.
I'm with you on the two week notice, with the b-day invite.
Get her a Claires card she will love it. My daughter loves all the credit card crap to buy her own stuff.
It's lovely to have a little teenage girl running around. Well, it can be.

for teenagers i have to agree, they do love the gift cards...they like picking out and paying for their own stuff. my teen and preteen sure do!

I am feeling you on the teenage thing. My daughter is graduating from elementary in June, starting Junior high school in September and turning 11 years old in September also.. I am scared as hell deep down inside me.... I pray for her constantly...
I agree with Urbanknitrix about the Claires gift card.... Its a good idea...

Cheddar and sour cream are the BEST chips, I agree (with Salt n Pepper chips a close second).
I know Jaelyn is excited about her birthday. A teenager! (Delaney is already planning her 13th party too. After doing the Bat Mitvah bash Sat. night, D wants a party with dancing and food and stuff.I told her we'd see if we could swing that. Maybe. LOL)
I love J Hud.She did awesome at the Super Bowl too. Her voice is amazing!

It's a beautiful thing to have a teenager around and agree a gift card from Claire would definitely Rock.

You're going to LOVE having a teenage girl in your house. They share SO much more than teenage boys do. My DD and I grew so close during her teen years. She is 37 now and our connection has grown even deeper. You're in for the best ride of your life. ENJOY!!!

I copied you in scheduling drafts for publishing a long time ago! LOL.
Two weeks before. I hate getting invites a week before the event. And if it's just a few days before, don't even invite me. But then, I need notice to do just about anything.

Aww...Jaelyn's a february baby, yay!
I'm going to go with 2 weeks before!
I plan on getting a pedicure before the week is out...my feet are HIT. *lol*
Are they Ruffles Sour Cream and Cheddar....?
What was the bad project? TELL!

I am too embarrassed to have a pedi in the winter, so I have to prep my feet myself in the spring so they don't turn me away.....
And yes, Sour Cream and cheddar....I think the baby just kicked when I read that - off to Kroger's (grocery store)

I really like the ramblings! You are so funny. Pretty feet are definitely in order all year long. Teenagers are really not that bad; it's when the go to college and start to think they are world renowned philosophers that's the killer.
You will be just fine though.

I am w/ Pattycake I typically do my own toes in the winter (except this past Xmas eve Yay)
And ALL your kids are overall good!
Now don't burn up your fingers sewing ;op

Ramblings are fun!
Yes you will have a teenager in the house. Good Luck! LMAO!
You've hijacked the mojo! You beast! Learn to share!
Having good friends is a blessing. Treasure them and your blessings everyday.

Your ramblings are fun.
As for the chips, sour cream & cheddar are right up there with sea salt & cracked pepper for me.
I thought J-Hud did awesome, but I was mostly daydreaming about JT. I have the most inappropriate crush on him......

I know I’m late, but I enjoy reading your ramblings. I feel your pain about having teenagers. My second youngest child, and only girl, will be 17 next month. Just hope yours will want to stay close to home when they leave for college; my oldest, 20, is 1,200 miles away. Pure torture!
