Sometimes in life you go through things that aren't very pleasant....
Hell...they are just downright BAD lol, and you are jussssssssssst about ready to just say forget it. Then you get an email from a trusted friend and say you know what?? You are right. You go through it and HOPE that one day the sun will shine again.
If it's raining in your life right now....hang on in there. The sun WILL shine again.
The sun is shining in my life right now. I am going to enjoy it!
Toodles!!!
OK - I'm delurking (is that even a word?) to let you know how thrilled I am that you're still blogging. I was so upset when I saw your last post - you provide me with so much inspiration for my own sewing and plenty of crafty goodness when life gets in the way and I can't do any of my own. Hopefully that whole issue got sorted and we can keep on with the good stuff!!

You have to take life with the good and the bad. The bad may get you down for a moment, but I can't let the bad think it's gotten the best of me. I shake it off and keep on going!

In the words of one of my favorite songs, "Don't give up, just hold on, joy will come, you be strong; the Lord, our God, is an awesome, an awesome God." He can bring you through anything. Glad you are still blogging. Be blessed.

WELCOME BACK GIRL!!!!! You scared me for a minute. I kept checking to see if you were back. I needed my daily fix of "inspirational" Adrienne. Your e-presence inspires so many people so I'm glad you've decided to go forth and not allow "one" lurker to hold you back.

Following Patricia, one of my favorite songs, "...when the rain falls down on me,
Lord, take me high up so I can see
the rainbow...the rainbow tells me this storm has passed." Our trials are always temporary. Keep looking up. ~Flora

I love reading your blog It has really inspired me over the past year and I have the purchases to prove it (smile)Now here is my two cents only because I like you. ALWAYS go with your instincts it will never lead you wrong. The good lord gave them to us for a reason and your family is number one. If the person does not identity themselves be very cautious. I am going to give blogging a try in 2009 . One of my fears is what you experienced but I am going to jump in but if my instincts tell me something is wrong I am going to jump out. Please watch your back you seem like a great person and not everyone is nice as I am sure you know
Posted by: barba | December 09, 2008 at 05:47 AM
I'm so glad that you're back and I agree with all the words of encouragement but also the words of caution, as you have said on this very blog your family is first and most important don't ignore your instincts be safe and I'm sure all of us who have posted will keep you and your family in our prayers.

I'm glad the sun is shining for you now. But even if the rain starts again, just take out your umbrella and press on. The sun is waiting on the other side.
Thanks for continuing to post and share with us. You're such an inspiration!

This post was right on time...we never know how much things we say or do encourage & uplift others!
When you get a chance, listen to "It's Your Time" by Donald Lawrence & The Tri-City Singers. It's an AWESOME song.
Keep enjoying the sunshine!

I haven't commented on your blog in awhile and after yesterday's post I thought I would again say hi! I love visiting your blog and hearing your stories about your amazing family and friends. And you are so talented! You are one of the reasons I got over my fear of sewing machines and began sewing. I saw some of the amazing clothes you made when you still considered yourself a beginner and thought, "I can do that!" Thanks for being such an inspiration.

Miss a post and all kinds of stuff goes down. Not familiar with your set up but since you're a hosted blog lurkers can always be banned.
Don't know what's going on but I hope it gets better.

Hope you find out who it was-you may see me coming in from the Department of Justice :), but I am just such a fan of yours and everything you do. Don't let anyone steal your joy, girl!
By the way, your knitting has inspired my whole family, including my new husband to take a family knitting class. I'll let you know how it goes.

You're a beautiful person! Glad to see you back! I was worried after your last post!

I'm glad you're sounding OK. Life sometimes has a way of blindsiding you and sometimes you feel nothing will ever be right again. That's when the simplest thing can turn you around. Keep looking for those things. Keep smiling at people on the street, keep positive thoughts in your head and surround yourself with beautiful things and people. Find something to smile about every day and things won't seem so bad. Take care.

I'm happy to see that you are back to blogging. I know it had to be un-nerving, not knowing who was lurking. We just have to be careful about how much we share with people, in real-life and in the blogiverse. I truly enjoy all the wonderful clothes, layouts and other crafty goodness you create. You are truly an inspiration. It would have been a shame to see it end, but we all would have understood. I wish you peace-of-mind and much happiness.
Happy Holidays

I am way too behind on reading your blog. And everyone else's! I am glad you are still blogging. I usually have to go back and read like 20 posts at one time because I am so behind but I adore your blog and all your great photography.
I LOVE the picture in this post. And what you wrote. There is so much truth to it.
