These two have been friends FOREVER.....
It makes my heart smile to see them "bond" with each other. Patrick is sooooooo stupid lol, and so is Tony so when you put them BOTH in a room together!?!? LAWD talk about pure comedy lol.
Treasure your friends...I know I treasure mine :-)
Now for my "little news" and HELL no I am NOT pregnant lol. I almost dropped my phone when I saw that NIK lol..you know better lol.
I am working again!
LOL but not that "mandatory" gotta pay the bills type of job (even though extra cash is ALWAYS nice ). I got a fun part time job working in a local store in the SCRAPBOOKING DEPARTMENT! LOL How fun is that! My ideal job was at Hancock but they wanted me to work evenings AND weekends so that wasn't happening lol.
I wanted to get out of the house a few days a week and still be able to pick up the kiddos, and do school things with them. This one is perfect! I have so much fun, but LAWD THE PEOPLE THAT I SEE..... Whew...look for a new series coming up over here....I think I'm gonna call it "GTFOOH" because that is what I think when I see what they do/wear/say etc. Don't worry, I ALREADY have pictures stored up and ready to go lol.
That is IT guys! Hope you have a superb Thursday!!
Toodles
Congrats on your new gig. They say it's not work if your doing something you enjoy/love.
Can't wait for the GTFOOH series

Enjoy your new gig!

I am glad you get to do something you love and still get paid for it. But Honey, you DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT want to work at Hancock. Trust me it is not all what it is cracked up to be. You would be amazed what happens in a fabric store. Take it from a person who has been down that road with Hancock several times.

I had gotten excited..I just knew the news would be that you were expecting. Glad I did not comment yesterday. Congrats on the new gig...money to do more crafts is ALWAYS good!

That's so fun!!! I've been thinking that when Sydney goes to school next year, I'd like a job sorta like that.Just some hours during the day, to get out of the house. LOL I can't wait to hear more about it!
And don't you LOVE friends like that?Friends who've been friends forever. My best friend from when we were 14...we're crazy when we're together!
Posted by: Cheryl | December 11, 2008 at 12:46 PM
That's wonderful! Since you are doing what you enjoy, it shouldn't seem like work--just fun! I look forward to the series :^)

Glad you've found a job that suits you. My DH is one of five friends who have known each other since they were five years old. When they all get together it's like a bunch of old women. They bitch and snap, but they love each other like nothing on earth. It warms my heart.

Great News! How wonderful is it that you found something you love, and offers the flexibility you need. This is GREAT.

Congrats on you new job. Before I got my current job, I tried to work at Hancock too and couldn't for the same reason. That ok!
Posted by: Charlene McGill | December 11, 2008 at 05:33 PM
Well Adrienne, that's just COOL! I've been wanting to find a job like that. But something with the type of hours and flexibility that I need is very hard to come by. So I'm proud of you! You give me hope that there's SOMETHING out there SOMEWHERE! So, do you get a discount? :-)
Posted by: Dawn Bibbs | December 11, 2008 at 06:05 PM
How in the world do you have time to work even for a few hours a week????? You are WAY too busy for that LOL....but maybe for the discount???? smart move :O) hehehe

Ha ha! I can't wait to see some pictures! I got a little part time thing at the mall, picking up whatever hours I feel like taking, and I am shocked, SHOCKED, by the clothes people pick out for themselves.
Posted by: Marlena | December 16, 2008 at 02:37 PM
Hey Adrienne,
Congrats on the new job! I can't wait for the new series! I'm sure I'll be cracking up. It's good to get out of the house, see new things and dare I say. . . people? It'll just increase your appreciation for your home, kids and husband. Plus, you're doing something fun, that you like. Good Luck!
