Happy Monday guys!
I have to say...I am so glad I have a lot of hobbies.
When I don't have mojo for one thing, I can easily go on to the next. I haven't sewn since I went to North Carolina and that was at the beginning of November. I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT IS DECEMBER 1st!!!
I am using my scrapbooking, painting (getting ready to go again lol) and knitting mojo!! Ok...on to some more LO's.....
I get messy when I scrap lol
But I HAVE to clean up before I can start a new project lol
Sisterly Love
(Is sisterly a word??? LOL)
and a few close ups...
This is a really old picture. I used the MM Mini letters to add the date to this cute little polka dot tab. I put some tacky glue on top to keep the stickers from peeling off.
I really wanted butterflies on this LO...I don't know why but I did. I used my stickles to outline each butterfly...STICKLES TAKE FOREVER TO DRY.... Can you see all my smudges?!?!? lol
I know you all remember this thing...kinda made me want to emboss something lol. I used it to speed up the drying process of the butterflies. It worked but I burned the shit out of my hand!

Stacey and Fergie asked how I stored my LO's when I finished....well here ya go lol. Now, most of the LO's that you guys see are for the scrapbook store I design for Scrap Etc. Once I finish them, they go to the store to be put on display.
When I get them back they go into this HUGE stack of layouts that seriously need to be put into albums.
I use We R memory keeper albums and they are my FAVORITE ALBUM IN THE WORLD!! I have used a ton other ones but these are the bomb. WHY? They are durable AND true 12x12.
I keep refills for my albums right next to them so I can see when I'm running low. I always buy them when they are half off. This is what they look like.
This album is a post bound album. You can unscrew these to add more pages to your album. I THINK each album comes with 20 page protectors so you can get ABOUT 40 single layouts in them...or 20 double page layouts in them.
This is how it looks when you open it...
The layout slides down into the page protector and it keeps the embellishments on your pages from rubbing against the other pages and falling off. (which is why I need to put that stack of layouts in albums....asap)
Each child has an album, we have a family album, and I have an album. It is one of my goals to have an album for Tony next year. I want the kids to know who he is as an individual. Not just Tony the dad and Tony the husband....if that makes ANY sense at all lol.
If you all don't scrapbook...try it. Some people say they don't have kids yet and don't have anything to scrapbook...so not true. Scrapbook what you do now. Your kids will LOVE to see what you did and will love to know what type of person you were and the things you were interested in before they were born. It's not hard and it's easy to get started.
You don't have a lot of room or time?? Try digital scrapbooking. I don't do a whole lot of digital stuff but I incorporate digital elements on my pages... I could go on and on lol... just a thought :-)
And there you have it!
That is it for me. Hope you all have a fab day!
Toodles!
BEautiful! oh girl.. now I'm really dying to scrap something! I really thought when my in laws got in town.. i'd be able to sit and scrap.. wrong, everytime I sat.. I felt like I should be doing something or moving :)
Maybe I'll get my mojo back.. :) I have to try those albums.. you've convinced me!

Looks like a scrapping good time for you. I think my mojo runs like yours. When one isn't going well I move to the next craft.
Your layouts are really nice.
Keep up the good work!

Scrapping seems like fun. I'm creative but I'm pretty sure my arts & crafts are not even close to what I could think of. Do you have any suggestions for a beginners scrapping kit and maybe a website or two for some ideas/inspiration?

Hey girl,
Just peeking my head in to say hello. Looks like you all ate WELL. That menu was excellent.

That is fabulous! You are a wealth of info. I don't scrapbook much because I already have an expensive hobby (sewing!!lol), but I try to scrap-journal our vacations. So far I am 1 for 4 or so. One of these days....

love the LOs as usual!

I LOVE your layouts! Since I started scrapping all layouts go into one book but I think I'm going to do an album for each person. I'm so glad you shared that stickles take forever to try, I have this friend who has been ranting and raving about how fast that stuff dries, I'm going to try it but I won't rush out and buy every color. Happy Scrapping!!! Once I'm done with this 20 page paper *cough* I will be back at my scrap desk!

Love to get inspired by your scrap pages. Since I discovered PR I only scrapbook about once every three months. I'm taking the plunge into digital though...as soon as I can find the time ;) Great pix too!

Now the real question is how many you still need to put in albums! LOL

I love your scrapbooking, it's something I never thought I would get into but over Thanksgiving my Father gave me some really old pictures of me and my sister's which I think deserve something special so I might have to give it a try.

Hey you, I stopped by to get a few laughs and I was surprised to see some scrappy goodness. Love your School Days LO! You are so talented.
Let me add that I did get a nice chuckle when you mention the heating tool and the burn.
You crack me up!

We R Memory Albums are great, but I must admit that Creative Memory Albums are the best (hands down). I just wish that they would come 3 ring.
Cute school LO!

Hello there!
I just found your blog and I saw your post about the IP address that is giving you some concern!!
You can go online and look for different ways to trace the IP address. You can also contact the agency and ask for the IT department and just say that you are a concerned blogger and give the IP address. You can indicate that you are not being stalked or anything but that you are concerned. If anything, the department will be alerted and can LOOK AT that person's internet activity to see if there is anything shady happening on work computers - which would make them liable.
All women online MUST take precautions for their own safety and NOT give out so much information because crazy people DO exist in this world. One of my friends posted her photo, the name of her employer and the suburb she lived in...this makes it possible for someone to stalk her from work and follow her all the way home in their car from a distance! It has NOT HAPPENED but still! Why make it so easy for crazy people to do something dangerous?
We must protect ourselves more as black women and not be naive - or lax - about the very real dangers in this cyberworld.
Please feel welcome to stop by my blog any time!!
Peace, blessings and DUNAMIS!
Lisa
