I REALLY loved this movie. As with any book made movie the book was SO MUCH BETTER.
A bunch of girls from the scrapbook store went but Carol was my seat buddy lol excuse the sick induced puffiness of my face and eyes lol
Virginia gave us these really cute snack containers...I am assuming these were made with the Accucut machine lol.
and a closeup of the tag...
Twilight is LONG like a full 2 hours, but it was really good. There were some things a little different from the book but IMO it really stayed true to the story. Some things happened too fast, but I guess in order for everything in the book to happen in a movie, it would need to be about 8 hours long lol.
When they first started showing pictures of Edward I didn't like him. That was NOT the Edward in my minds eye....AT ALL. But the SECOND I saw him on the screen for the first time...yep..I was HOOKED. Love him! I hear they are already working on making the other books movies so I'm so looking forward to that!
Ronalyn has the best review I've read so go check it out....she KINDA has spoilers so read at your own risk. Not spoiler spoiler but somewhat lol. Have you seen it? What do you think?
I'm still sick. I woke up this morning with a fever so my plans for tonight are def out. I am trying to feel better for tomorrow. There is always hope lol.
Have a great day guys toodles!
So glad you got to get out and see Twilight despite still being under the weather. "We brought a snack" - ha! Take care of yourself. I've read the first 3 books - I liked them but haven't started the 4th because I read a summary and thought the storyline jumped the shark. We'll see. I'll see the movie after the crowds have thinned :)

You've convinced me to go. I was staging my own personal protest because I didn't like the casting of Edward. He is oh so crucial to the appeal of the story. I'll go and check him out now.

Hope you feel better. And yes it had it's strong moments and some parts I wish they added more.. but we didn't have 8 hours to watch the movie. I'm so glad they are making the next one already! Did you buy the Soundtrack? Been listening to that all day!
Get well.

Love the book series. It's funny reading the same books w/ my daughter. A weird experience since she's getting at that age! She saw it the first weekend it came out and we saw it together last week. Have you read Midnight Sun on Stephanie Meyers website? It's Edward's version of events in Twilight. Your daughter might like that after she's done w/ Breaking Dawn.
