What would these pics say??
Jaelyn told me she wanted to go outside to read her book because it was "quiet" lol. She took her blanket and wrapped up on the bench to read. I decided to check on her since I hadn't seen her in while and had to run back in to grab my camera. I don't even think she knew I was there lol.
She is REALLY loving this series and does not want it to end lol.
~Typepad users....what is with this whole typekey crap!?!? I mean seriously. I do NOT like it. I don't want to sign in with a typekey. Me no likey. Hmmm. Guess I will email them and see if I have the option to NOT use it. I like the new platform which a lot of you have already had for a while but I'm just getting it...like last week maybe. It's cool...this typekey crap? NOT SO MUCH!.
~Are y'all about finished cooking?? I just took my LAST cake out of the oven. I am ready to go to bed lol. I still have a few things to cook tomorrow but I will get 'er done lol.
~Can someone tell me why Kayla falls ALL.THE.TIME!?!? We have had her checked out...her equilibrium is fine, nothing going on in her head...she is just CLUMSY. She fell down the stairs today....I think she only fell down 8 of the 15 *eyeroll* going to the family room downstairs....THEN she fell down the ladder (why does this look like it's spelled incorrectly!?!?) getting out of her bed to go to the bathroom. Any suggestions other than wrapping her in bubble tape?
~I have a LOT to do tomorrow and most of my morning will be spent away from home. Hmmm. Yeah.
~The kids are ready to put the Christmas Tree up. I don't even have all the stuff pulled out yet. SOME but not all.
~ I printed the labels for my Christmas cards. I will mail them them December 5th. YAY! Oh I still need to get our family picture taken! LOL...gotta do it before the 5th huh? lol
~ WHY do I have my pictures printed at other places when I have THREE printers at home?!? I sent some pics to SAMS to be printed and I HATE them. Seriously. I told them they looked like crap and I could do a better job printing them out at my house. I got them for free but won't even use them. 90 pics! I ordered a bunch of ink for my Picturemate today. NEVER again. I'll print them myself.
~I do not like Lu and Ronalyn anymore. They have hooked me on 24!!!!! I watched six episodes of season one and LOVE IT! I ordered season 1-6 from Amazon yesterday. Let's call it a belated birthday gift! LOL I need to watch that on something larger than my 15inch laptop screen lol
Ok...I'm sleepy so I'm rambling lol. If you made it this far woo hoo lol. If not, I don't even blame you lol
Toodles!
Damn girl, you were going a mile a minute. You sure do need some sleep. Me? Not cooking this year. MIL is here and I don't feel like cooking soo... ordered the entire turkey dinner from my market! Yup! First time I've done that. We'll see how it goes. As for your clumsy girl, I have one too. But she's only four. Still hoping she'll grow out of it. But my mom is still clumsy. The kind that's always tripping over her feet, not the kind that's always dropping things. Good night and have a happy Thanksgiving.

Ha ha.. you got her reading Breaking Dawn! Let us know what she thinks!
Girl.. we are still catching up on 24, we are only on season 4! ha ha! I remember when we first saw it.. we never slept! Seriously! 2 hours here and there.. that's it! Love love it! I can't wait to catch up!
Enjoy your day!

OMG, can't believe she's reading Breaking Dawn, she's not going to want it to end. I think I might reread the books again, and read them slowly this time. You finished cooking.....HA I haven't started! Not a big deal since we're not cooking that much at our house anyway. Well, you enjoy your turkey day and your time with your loved ones.

I guess I must get the book soon huh? I've heard so much about it. But I will go see the movie first. The book is always better anyway.
Poor Kayla. Some of us just aren't very coordinated.
You sound like me! I have two photo printers and rarely use them. I need to pull them out for my pics soon.
I'm off to shop for food. I'm making dinner for tomorrow (small one though). Wish me luck!

I don't like this new Typepad platform either! I just got it too. I turned off all authentication on mine, in the hope that it will go away. I also don't like that it no longer works properly with Internet Explorer 6.0 (my work browser, LOL) - just meaning that it doesn't do paragraph breaks easily or well when posting, if you use that browser. Think I should tell my IT guy he needs to upgrade our entire office to 7.0 so I can blog? Yeah, thought not.
Happy Turkey Day?

Should have said Happy Turkey Day!! It really wasn't a question.

Hate to tell you, I was Kayla, and my grown butt fell down the steps twice in the past year. Maybe she will grow out of it, not me.
Dang, you already baked and almost finished. Goog for you, I just went shopping last night.
I use to LOVE 24, I stopped watching around the 4th or 5th season.

haven't noticed anything different about signing in with Typepad, but I know in the past my Typepad Id did not work with Typekey???!!!

Whew! You are busy. LOL.
As for Kayla, I feel for her. My daughter was not as clumsy as her. Yet, now at 18 she is still tripping over her own feet. I tell her slow down cause sometimes that is part of the problem.

Yay - another 24 fan! It's addictive, isn't it?
Posted by: Christina | November 26, 2008 at 09:08 AM
ok, now Jaelyn has beat me to starting this series! I better get on the ball! :)

Maybe Kayla is going to be like Bella Swan. LOL Seriously, sounds like a big ol' case of growing pains! Hopefully, it will end soon.

Kayla sounds distracted. Last spring I had a series of accidents all within a couple of weeks; when I cut the tip off my finger while chopping sweet potatoes, a friend asked me "where were your thoughts at the time". Not on the task at hand to be sure.
So at the age of 44, I'm trying to learn to be present in the moment, "in the now" as they say: feeling each step under your feet, hearing any differences in sound, seeing how the view changes on each step, etc. What a great skill to learn in one's youth. If one is focused on the "now" it is impossible to stew about earlier or later.

Go Jaelyn!!! I am in love too! I am reading New Moon and almost done. Love those pics, you are definitely going to have to scrapbook them. I already know most of what you cooked, got the pictures to prove it...LOL

LOL! I love Jaelyn looking for a quiet place to read! Ya'll were disturbing her! (Maybe Kayla's falling was too loud?) Always nice to see children so interested in books.

Tell Kayla hang in there. My youngest boy was extremely awkward when he was younger. Everytime we went to a basketball game he would somehow manage to "take out" one of the vendors. The other two kids literally made wages as to how long it would take before he collided into a vendor or fell.
He finally outgrew it. We discovered the poor kid's feet had grown before the rest of his body was able to handle it! LOL The kid was literally stumbling over his own feet!
He's now 22, 6' 5", and wears a size 15 shoe (and no longer stumbling and falling). I would always tell him he had to grow into the rest of his body. If its any consolation you'll have plenty of memories to laugh about when she's grown.

as for Kayla, get use to it hunny! i'm 27 and still clumsy. i fell UP the stairs in high school, ROFL! hopefully she'll outgrow it.
As for Jaelyn, get it! reading is fundamental! kudos to her for finding her quiet place and maxin' and relaxin, LOL.
i'm getting ready to work on a chocolate chocolate cake from scratch (save for the betty crocker frosting, LOL).
typekey, eh? (sigh) what's with these sites taking a good thing and messing it up?! UGH!

I just ADORE these pictures!!! Love me some Twilight...and I love to see kiddoes reading (Delaney read an entire book today and it just makes me happy to see her reading; McKenna reads ALL the time!)
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Jaelyn looks completely absorbed.
Love to see kids reading.

24 is soooooo addictive. I remember when I first started watching it on video. I would do 8 and 9 hour marathons because I couldn't stop watching. Season 1 is THE BEST!!! I was really disappointed with last season though and once you get there you'll understand too. You have some time to play catch up though because the season doesn't start until Jan. Have fun!! Happy belated Turkey day too!
