Growing Up (click all images to enlarge)
This one was really fun to do. It kinda took ALL DAY LONG because I kept changing my mind but I think I'm finally happy lol
And a couple close ups...
I loved this Inspirables embellishments that I have had FOREVER. I am trying really hard to use up my older product. Like I said before a lot of the new stuff just isn't doing it for me and y'all know I LOVE some product...
I had two pics I wanted to use, again trying to use some older pics that I may have over looked...like these lol. I wanted to incorporate this one in here too and I thought the use of this frame was a good way to do it.
When I started working with the tree, it was still looking a little plain to me. So I used my fiskars punch to make these border edges. Jaelyn said they looked like grass lol. The two greens didn't work together so I used the MM ledger paper to break it up a little...add a little ink and call it a day! LOL

Okay, I have a question. Once you finish with the layouts, where do they go? I'm assuming in a scrapbook, but what happens to all the raised embelishments and such when you close the book?

AJ has grown up so much!! He is like a little baby there!! :o) Cute layout!
And I want to know too just like Fergie where do you put your layouts?? In a book? box? sleeve for safekeeping?

Lovin' the LO of AJ. Super cute and I especially love the tree. I am with you on the new stuff. I am so into using my stash right now that I haven't even been to my lss as much as usual and when I go, I am not impressed by the new stuff at all. I am lovin' rediscoverin' the old...and it seems that's what you are doing too!!!!!

Hi, I found your blog when I was looking for pattern reviews (the fantastic post about the Butterick dress that you used a woven lining in.) Just wanted to say I love your creations and you've got the CUTEST family! You are so talented! They must love having such a creative mum.
