Gotta start out by apologizing to all my Scrap Etc Peeps! Y'all know that is NOT a part of my character. I'm sorry ladies!!!!!
Now, a pattern review.
Pattern Description:
A, B, C, D have gathered, wrapped bodice, gathered self-lined midriff, A-line skirt and sleeve variations in two lengths; dresses A, B have gathered shawl collar and extended overarms; dresses C, D have gathered shoulders; dresses A, D have gathered drapes; dress C sleeves are three-quarter length; dresses A, B, C, D lengths are mid-knee.
Pattern Sizing: 8-14 I cut my normal 14 and it was too big. It could be because I've lost a little weight but I ended up going back and cutting out the 12 and it fit much better.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, except my wrap is on the wrong side :-)
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes. I hardly used them.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? This is my first time making any Palmer/Pletsch patterns. I LOVE how they include "pro tips" to make the process easier. I hardly used the guide sheet, but I went through to read over the tips that they suggested.
Fabric Used: Silk Jersey
Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made: None.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I doubt if I will sew this again, although part of me REALLY wants this in a solid fabric. Hmmm. I still doubt it but I highly recommend it!!!!
Conclusion: Fantastic knit dress!!! If you haven't picked up this pattern yet...GET IT!
Ok that is it guys! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!!
Toodles!
Work it! Look at you looking your Sunday Best! :o)

Pretty dress! If it came straight out the envelope and is that length on you, I already know I'll have to add length. This is the reason I love to see patterns made before I use them! It looks great on you.

Adrienne,
That is a sharp dress! I love the fabric and wish I could see the wrap detail better.
Is it a true wrap design? Anyway, I love those colors and would wear that myself. The way you work, I'm surprised you're not doing it for a living- but then again, it might not be as much fun
