I was doing my normal blog reading and went over to LaVerne's blog
and she posted that Aleida was killed in an accident. OMG. I JUST talked to her!!!
This is soooo sad. She has the cutest kids. OMG...her husband. OMG. I am just in shock!!!
You meet some amazing people online. Some you click with and stay tight with...some who go on about their business, but the ones you click with...it's like you become family. I know it sounds crazy but my heart is breaking right now. You never know the lives you touch. Blogging is so much more than just "talking" to me. You meet so many amazing people. My God she will be missed. PLEASE pray for her family.
Thank you so much for that lovely blog entry, my name is Ishnar López, I'm one of Aleida's many cousins in Puerto Rico. Aleida will be missed, we love her so much and her beautiful family.
Sincerely
Ishnar

Adrienne, I just don't know what to say. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. It's really hard to read her blog posts from this week and realize she's gone. The picture she posted last Friday is so poignant, it really says it all.
Thanks for sharing this and I will keep her family in my prayers today.

Yes this is more than just clicking/typing some words in a box every few days back and forth with each other. There are soul ties that end up happening and it is a wonderful thing. Her family and those who knew her are in my prayers for comfort right now.

So sad, what a tragedy, you just never know when your time is going to be. Hug your kids and hubby. Her blog has some beautiful memories on it--she made some gorgeous keepsakes with her photos. I will say a prayer for their family and for you who lost your friend.

I will be praying. The worst thing about life is tragedy and loss. Sad...

Oh no A, my prayers goes out to her family and friends. This happened locally and I remember reading about it in the newspaper and feeling sad. May God comfort everyone who knew and loved her.
*Same thing happened to my mom yesterday. Someone ran the stop sign and hit her. By the grace of God she's ok.

Oh that is just horrible. I've not had the pleasure of knowing her. It sounds like she was an amazing person. I am praying for her family.

I met Aleida like I met you Adrienne-through the wonderful world of blogging.
You're totally right about how certain connections can turn into on line friendships that feel as real as IRL.
I considered Aleida one of my blogging buddies and I can't believe this horrible news.
I'm really stunned and I just can't stop thinking about her adorable kids.
My heart goes out to the family.

Hi A,
I agree, I'm in shock, too! The bloghood just lost a beautiful soul. My prayers go out to her family for peace and comfort during their time of loss and for all of us. I read her last blog entry, written just before Friday, and I'm overwhelmed. May we all find comfort in knowing there's now another angel in Heaven. Peace and Blessings,
Karen

I know...this is just so sad. I think you have probably seen what Greta is putting together. What a well loved memeber of the community. Even though I didn't know her I feel like I did after reading all the love she has received. Hugs, Noel
