Thanks guys for all your kind words yesterday. Both Kayla and I are much better today. I had a bit of a "moment" but I'm over it now lol.
Moving on...
I am going to work on my first lined jacket for the mini wardrobe contest and I will also enter it into the PR Lined Jacket Contest. This will also give me some practice for the coats that I have all but thrown in a corner lol.
I will be using this grey gabardine and baby blue silk for the lining.
and the lining....
I think it is going to look great! I've already cut out the pattern and fabric. I will start on it today. I will work on this and my pants at the same time. I'm STILL waiting on my shirt pattern to come in the mail. It is taking FOREVER. UGH....anyhoo Soon as it comes I'll get my storyboard ready....it will be too late in a minute lol.
Butterick put out their new patterns yesterday and I was very happy to see them.
So what did I like?? A LOT actually lol.
I LOVE this one. I'd rock it with some tights and some knee boots.
I really like the red short sleeve dress. I could wear this in the fall with a cardigan and belted like here:
or in the summer without it. Love it.
I think this cardigan would work...
I like this cardigan but would have to combine view e and c. I like the neckline of c but want just a regular bottom.
This makes me think "maternity" BUT I love how casual it is, and I LOVE the cowl neck. Throw it on with some boots and I'm off to a PTA meeting lol.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this tunic!!! I saw a cowl neck sweater in a gap ad:
and as SOON as I saw this it made me think about it. I already have the perfect fabric for it!
I really like these skirts.Especially view A and B. Not sure if I will make one but I like them lol.
I like the dress and blouse on this one. I know it's just a simple dress but I still like it. I'm also in LOVE with ruffles lol.
View C is SOOOOO chic. Love it!!!
Alright guys, that is it for me today! Hope you have a good one!
Toodles!!!
It's going to be fabulas I am sure. Love your choices. Now you're ready to get your Sew and Sew on. :D

Once again the pot calling the kettle black because although I have not totally been wooed by the new Butterick, I am racking up vintage BurdaWOF like hot cakes. 6 are slowly making their way to me now...LOL. Addicts are Addicts I guess :O)

Ack- on my previous post I somehow managed to attach a weird link to my name, sorry, don't even know what he heck it is. That teaches me to use those auto-fill-ins on a shared computer! (Sorry!) Have a great day anyhow!
