I don't think time has EVER gone by this fast lol. Is it the same for you guys!!??!
Y'all had me rolling yesterday with your AKA and Delta comments lol. Too funny.
Yesterday I was doing some sewing and Tony came to help lol
He was turning the straps for my dress lol. He was working it out lol. Thanks babe lol.
I am SO ready for fall sewing!!! I've been ready for it since APRIL lol I went to Hancock today for the first time in FOREVER and picked up a couple Vogue patterns I want to add to my "wardrobe" lol. I'm going fabric shopping Monday with my mom to get my fall/winter fabrics and I can not WAIT lol. I kinda already know what I want to get so we will see lol.
I already have a list transitional clothing I want to make. I am just PRAYING that it will get a LITTLE cold lol. I've made both muslins for my coat and they fit perfect so no need to even show those. I plan on cutting out my fabric once I finish with a wedding Saturday. Come November I will be ready to sew for spring/ summer again lol.
*Sigh* while Tony was helping with my dress, I looked down and saw this:
They really think this thing can play with them lol. It will be really interesting to see how long this turtle REALLY lives lol. They wanted to put him in the pool....lol poor turtle lol.
I will leave you guys with a pattern review. I am SO behind on reviewing stuff. I think I made this one like two or three weeks ago?? lol
Fabric: | Linen [See other projects in this fabric] | |
Pattern Description: Girl or Girl Plus Dress, Shrug and Bag - Lizzie McGuire Collection Pattern Sizing: 8-16 Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes very easy. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? My daughter loved everything about this pattern lol Fabric Used: Linen from Fashionista Fabrics Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made: None Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I will probably make this style again for my younger daughter. Conclusion: Very easy dress to make. I made it one Saturday for her to wear the next day to church. She loved going through my stash lol. |
Ok, that is all I have today! Hope you guys have a good day!!!
Toodles!
Please make this outfit bigger, shoes and all, and put me in it.

BEAUTIFUL dress, Adrienne!!!
Here it is just starting to heat up (July and August are our warmer months in the year) so no fall sewing mojo yet... I'm finding it hard to start on my velvet coat with all this warm weather, LOL

Girl, I love that dress!! Jaelyn looks so cute! I had to LOL at Tony's sewing skills....
Btw, if you want your little turtle buddy to live he will need the following:
10-15 gallon fish tank
a uv light
a basking light
a turtle dock/or some where they can get on dry land and bask...
I have 3 aquatic turtles that I raised from babies and they are huge now....
Soon he or she will be eating fish....
Have a fun and safe 4th!

Hi Adrienne, what a great looking family you are. I love the dress and shrug. I'm sure my dd would be all over it. I also put my man to work with the strap turning when he's sitting around.

Hi I love the clothes, i also wanted to tell you i have a turtle. When they are small they can carry salmonella, and cause small children to get sick. That is how i ended up with my cousin’s turtle!!! You can look into this online but i thought of this when you posted that your son got sick.
