Imagine my surprise when I go to check my mail today and see this nice little box. Now I've ordered some stuff, but nothing was expected today...so I promptly throw the rest of the mail on the ironing board, and looked at the box more closely. It is from a good, good friend. Hmmm. I was so excited to get into it, I used my "good scissors" lol
How gorgeous is this black and ivory polka dot jersey!?!? I even got a beautiful card and some gum that my kids tried to eat up! Thank you SOOOOOOOOOO much girl!! This really made my day. It was so funny because I was talking to her last week and she said she was in the store and saw something that made her think of me...well this was it! LOL.I think I already know what I want to make with it but I'm going to wait until I get my May BWOF before I cut it. HOPEFULLY it will come in the mail today. Thanks again girl!!! I can't wait to make it "come to life" LOL.
Ok, now let me say this:
SOMEONE I KNOW, WHO IS VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY CLOSE TO ME, LEFT ON LAST THURSDAY GOING TO KENTUCKY DERBY...THAT SAME SOMEONE THAT IS VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY CLOSE TO ME DID NOT TAKE ONE SINGLE PICTURE. But I won't say who that someone is. Humph.
How about some pics from this weekend:
I love this shot of my sewing machine:
Umm, can SOMEONE tell me why I kept seeing this chick in my bathroom?
I promise you I hate the people that developed these things lol. And NO I did NOT buy this...my brother did...and it came with GLITTER...ugh. NO COMMENT!
How about some food?
One...
Two...
and presto chango:
I have not made meatloaf in a MINUTE, but this was SO good!!! It was so moist.OMG. Too bad it's gone today! And this was a big meatloaf! That picture doesn't do it justice lol.
I stopped drinking coffee and I am totally addicted to tea!! OMG:
Kim, LOVE this one. Now my two favorites are the Pomegrante tea and the mint tea that Christina sent me. I SO WISH I HAD A TRADER JOE'S! OMG. Maria, I still love my mug!!
Ok, this is getting long (playing catch up!!)
Toodles!!!
Your food pics always make my mouth watery...
The fabric you received are beautiful, it's good to be spoiled from time to time ;o)

Love the Bratz doll! I find Barbie's in my laundry basket all the time!
I also have discovered how much I LOVE tea, and I have a shop near my house. I don't think there is one near you, but you can order online: http://www.teavana.com/
Seems pricey, but totally worth it!

Love that fabric. I remember you'd been looking for some since you saw your cousin's dress. I'm glad you got your hands on some :).
Ummmmm, is the doll wearing polish???? Too funny. Maybe she was sitting there waiting to get a mani & pedi. lol
That meatloaf looks divine! And please do NOT get me started on tea. If TJ's had online ordering, I'd be getting some of that pomegranate for sure!

You can't make me hungry today. I made a huge Cinco de Mayo dinne last night. I forgot to take pictures. Oh well.
Glad you like the tea.

I love, love, love tea! If you are in DC and have some time, stop by Teaism (http://www.teaism.com/). Wonderful tea menu. Wonderful tea accoutrements, too! I always end up with several bags of loose tea to bring home.

I hope you win the contest. I'm sure you will though, you sew beautifully.
Now where can I find Pomegranate tea in Florida? My doctor suggested it to me to start helping me relax when I come home from work.
Those Bratz dolls look creepy to me, I think it's their eyes. But I'm sure she's special to someone in your household.
That dessert looks so delicious. Oh I love brownies with ice cream. YUMMO!

Why is typepad making me sign in here every time?? Huh...
Anyhoo... I am with ya on the bratz dolls... as a mom of three boys I am opposed to any doll that has cleavage!LOL.
