I didn't realize it had been so long since I've done a video! LOL
Here is a pic of the YUMMY Lemon Bars OMG. These are SO GOOD!!!
I should have let them cool a bit more, but I was trying to get the pic before the sun went down! LOL I WILL be having one of these for breakfast in the morning! LOL
Here is the line drawing for the BWOF dress. I finished it last night. SO easy! OMG I did almost the entire dress on my serger. I did omit the sleeves. I love sleeveless tops and dresses. I will take a pic in it and post it sometime today.
I was sitting down thinking and ya know....I'm blessed. I'm happy. I'm loving my life.
I have great, healthy kids (except on the days I want to strangle them lol)
I have a husband who loves me and treats me like his Queen (except on the days he wants to strangle me lol)
We were able to maintain the lifestyle I was accustomed to when I came home from work.
My husband supported me in that decision 150%
I'm only 30 and I have been through more crap that you all could EVER imagine. I mean not in your WILDEST dreams could you even imagine lol.
I have a wonderful set of very close friends.
I've met some wonderful ladies online, and I keep a couple of their numbers on speed dial so I can call them while I shop at hancock when I'm supposed to be "stressed" lol and while I'm riding around with my dad ;-) or talk to them while I'm bra shopping LMAO! LOL
I can PROUDLY say I'm a cancer survivor. I share my story with other women so that it might help them too. It's not something that I hide from.
I'm just thankful today.
That's all.
Great video and post as always! Firstly I'm sorry I just do not believe you have nothing to wear - have you read your own blog?! I have traced off that jersey dress pattern so I am looking forward to seeing your version. And oh wow those lemon slices look good!

Note to self..get my baking mojo back. I use to bring baked goods into the office weekly...since I stopped, my co-workers are not happy campers. Reflecting is good because it helps us to see all the ways in which we are blessed. Among other things, I'm thankful for your blog...it's inspired and encouraged me in so many ways.
Enjoy your spa day!

I love your projects. I can't wait to see that black and white dress. It looks pretty cool. I also like your jersey dress too. Take a picture real soon.
I don't know if I ever had lemon bars before. I must try one to see if they are my cup of tea!
You are blessed. It's good to remember it often. It keeps you grounded.

I have not picked up my issue of Burda yet, but I'm salivating over just for the top you pointed out. I have the perfect fabric to make it out of. God willing I will be picking mine up during lunch today. lololol
I missed watching the video diaries, thanks for doing them again.

Those lemon bars look wonderful! I've debated on that Martha Cookie book because I love to bake and I can see me baking something from that book everyday, (not good for the healthy eating) I might get it this weekend though. What a wonderful place to be in where you can look at your life dispite what you've been through and see just how Blessed you are, and you have such a beautiful and humble spirit. Thank you for sharing, inspiring and making goofy folks like me laugh out loud!
Have fun at your spa day!
Have a BLESSED BLESSED BLESSED DAY!

Hey,
I see that you have been busy, and nothing like lemon bars to put a little sunshine in your life. I hope to get back my energy now that it's getting a little warmer and days are longer. Keep smiling.

Good for you, Adrienne!!!! It is truly a blessing to be able to say you love your life and that you have so much to be thankful for. I think about this all of the time. :-) I had no idea that u had experienced so much in your life, but I know that it is all that I have experienced (good and bad) that has led me to this point and LIFE IS GRAND, baby!!!!! :-O
And Betty Crocker, you are dead wrong for posting those lemon bars. I would eat one of those TOO regularly when I worked at Books-a-Million and now I am craving one (or three). THANKS A LOT!!!!! :-)

I love this post, and not just because lemon bars are my favorite. :) I've been having a trying time lately, and it was nice to read all of that positivity to remind me that I DO have things to be happy about. Thanks.

I received my BWOF this week and like some of the same patterns as you. This issue is loaded with good stuff.
Cute shirtdress. I plan to make one of the views for my daughter. She pick this pattern last week.
You are right on it about the SPA. I love, love it. Absolutely everyone should visit at least once in a life time. We're just back and making plans for November 2008.
Great post Adrienne. Love reading, viewing and listening to your blog.
Have a great weekend.

It's good to take a little time for gratitude now and again. I'm always grateful to make it home or to work from my heinous commute every day. Slip one of those lemon bars in to an envelope for me. :-)

Can you make some lemon bars for my birthday at the end of the week? Pretty please? :-D I totally know what you mean on the tops. I always feel like I don't have the right ones, or I have one or two that I seem to wear constantly. A year without RTW? Go you! The black and white dresses are cute. I really love black/white dresses. Oh, and yes, you lead a blessed life.

BTW, I'd like to be added back to that speed dial list. How fun would it be to chat with you again from time to time? I'm just sayin! :-)
