I was really looking forward to the weekend being OVER until I remembered this:

No the weekend didn't get any better, yes I am still in a funk but working my way out of it. Yes, I did sulk and have  huge pity party but now it's about time to move on.

Jury duty. Blech! Not that I've ever served. When I lived in New York I kept forgetting to go. I never went. For a while I looked over my shoulder, thinking the cops might come get me. They never did, so you can skip it! Just kidding!

Kayla's "announcement" is so cute! Now you know I teach grammar, so tell Kayla I said that there's no apostrophe in the plural form, "parents." "Parent's" is singular possessive --> My parent's signature is on the slip. Tell her if she gets this now, she'll be years ahead of all my adult students! And, she'll know almost as much as I did when I started teaching, lol.
