I am in a serious funk right now. UGH. I feel like I could bawl at any moment. And no it's not PMS lol. I no longer have cycles..guess I could be happy about that?
I had to have a MRI done yesterday, I thought they would have called yesterday evening. NOT. I hate waiting on results. For anything.
We had a death in the family earlier this week, funeral was today. UGH.
Someone said something totally off the wall to me and I really snapped. That is so unlike me. I'm normally really nice and stuff. I'll blame it on the funk I'm in.
Have a baby shower to go to today and I do NOT feel like going. I might just make myself. It might pick up my spirits some. Maybe not. Maybe not sounds really good.
Ugh. I was listening to the radio today (I normally just have my ipod on) and now I am past stuck on this song because they have played it every third song...I should just turn the radio off.
Oh well. Guess that is my pity party for the day lol.
I'll be glad when Tony get's home so he can make it all better. I guess I'll just make some tea and close my eyes for a little while.
Don't go to the shower if you can get out of. Stay home. I hate it when I get in the funck too. Sometimes taking a hot bath, watching Lifetime Moives all day and starting a new knitting project help.
Sorry about the loss in your family…

Hey girl! I know I always joke with you and call you "Superwoman", but Adrienne you are a human being, with human emotions and feeelings. YOu are going to have your good days and your bad. And guess what? YOu are ENTITLEED TO THEM! Don't beat yourself up about it. People who "truly" love you will understand. You have been through ALOT, these last couple of months. MOre than I, myself could handle and you've prospered through it all....
Sometimes A GOOD cry is what every woman needs....
It's good to let it all out....
Don't let it CONSUME you, but I know I don't have to say it, because you're my Superwoman, right?
Love ya
Dana

Awww, I'm sorry you had a bad day yesterday. I hate days like those. Good thing is they don't last forever. Hope you're feeling better today.

Awww buddy you were having one of those days. We all have them!! I have snapped at my hubby before and had to check myself like, "What the heck is wrong with me??" Days like that I stop and talk to myself and try to re-center my feelings. If that doesn't work -- girl I just get away from it all and well, sew. LOL It makes me happy.

Hey, my advice to you is to rent "Something About Mary" or the "40 Year Old Virgin". Yes, these movies are stupid, but they are funny and a good blues chaser.

Girl, I was so there last week. I wrote similar comments around the same time last week. I think it's just the time of year. I'll keep you in my prayers.

We all get in a funk sometimes and it's OK....Every now and then I have a good ole cry just to get all that emotional clutter out. I'm sure the movie invite from Kayla put a smile on your face!
These songs always pick me up when I'm feeling down:
Aint No Need 2 Worry - Anita B. & The Winans
Be Encouraged - William Becton
Sorry to hear about the loss of your family member.

*catchin up* I'm sorry you were feeling like that. I can relate completely right now cause I'm in one right now.
I don't listen to the radio either but one day we slipped up and heard this song and I loved it. Hubby and I are all about beats. That album is pretty decent.
Take care.
