Hey guys!! Did you have a good weekend? I sure did!!! Wanna see some pics?? Good because I have a few :-)
This has to be one of my most favorite pictures from the weekend. Kayla volunteered was bribed into to take this picture. I LOVE It. So much, that I have already done a LO with it! LOL
It was COLD Saturday. I woke up to screaming children because it was snowing. We only got a "dusting" but it was enough for them.
I went to visit my parents (not like it's a field trip, they live EIGHT minutes away from me lol) because my brother came home YAY. They are insulating the inside of my dad's shop....they were workin......lol
They had a LOT of work to do. My uncle who is the ring leader of this project built his house HIMSELF, only calling someone in to lay the pipes and do electrical work. I'd say he is qualified to oversee this project lol.
I love this one of Aj standing RIGHT under my Dad. If he turned around too quick, he would have stepped all over Aj lol.
Hmmmm, a layout perhaps??? Maybe! LOL
You may have heard me mention Marvin, my stray brother from time to time...well he was over there and when I went back over to the shop to do something our good friend Tieron was there. My dad calls him Ronnie Lott because he seems to think he looks like him...I MADE them take a picture together!!! LOL
Andre (my twin) is in the middle lol.
Here is an updated picture of Max...He is going to be SO big. He is the SWEETEST puppy though.
Emmy had to have some LUV too lol.
For you kitty lovers...here is my moms kitten Gracie....
Now Gracie is my kitten Asia's sister lol. They came from the same litter. BUT when I tell you Gracie is bulimic....SHE REALLY IS!! LOL. My mom has taken the cat to the vet, changed her food. EVERYTHING, and I PROMISE every time she eats she will go in a corner and just up-chuck. SERIOUSLY. Then she goes on like nothing has EVER happened. WEIRD. Any suggestions? Have you all heard/experienced anything like this? And no she isn't feeding her too much.
The kids had fun playing by the water....
It was 20 degrees outside and they wanted to play in the water...I don't care just as LONG as you don't fall in lol. Besides, I was RIGHT there lol.
The kids scrapped...ok, they keep all their stuff in ONE spot (normally behind the door). But when they scrap, they pull it ALL out. Look at all that junk. And my carpet isn't dirty. I just needed to vacuum. We took care of that though lol.
Jaelyn did an entire mini album, Kayla did a couple pages, and Aj just got on their nerves lol. I will show their "creations" later this week.
Jaelyn made breakfast...now she makes very good grits. I don't mind letting the kids run free in the kitchen. That is how they learn. Aj made the toast, Kayla made the eggs. All served on paper plates...you know....to cut back on dishes ;-)
I love this picture of Aj, and I kind figured Virginia would too :-)
I thought this was the funniest thing....kids really can entertain themselves lol
It was such a beautiful day Sunday, we spent too long some time at the park.
I even got to play ;-)
I actually like this picture. It "SPEAKS" to me lol.
I did some scrapping...here are a couple sneak peeks...
And one more...
I am SERIOUSLY having a love affair with butterflies right now. SERIOUSLY. I did this page Saturday morning, and I promise...all I wanted to do was punch out more butterflies. The Martha Stewart butterfly punch is THE TRUTH!!! THEN QK had some new digital releases for the Silhouette....yes they had a couple BUTTERFLIES!!! ROCK ON!!!!! I was a happy camper! LOL. I had just said something to Virginia about butterflies, then I got the email from QK. LOVE IT!
I also finished one of my March Projects:
The first warm day I get, I'll take a nice picture outside. Until then, I will just take a pic of it on my dress form sometime today LOL.
I need to start planning my outfit for the Jill Scott Concert. Hmmm.
I also had my weekly talk with Ms. Stacey. I was talking to her when last night when Kayla came in with a bleeding mouth. Had to cut that convo off to see why my child was bleeding. She pulled her tooth that was loose. "I" do NOT pull teeth. I never have and I never will. Either they pull teeth themselves, or Tony does it. NOT ME. lol
Seems like there was something else that went on but I can't remember!
Think this post was long enough? LOL
Have a great day guys!!
Toodles!
Your children are precious (but you knew that) LOL. No, the post isn't too long I enjoyed it all. What type of shop does you Ddd have?

Looks like a great weekend and you got some great photos!
My cat barfs all the time...like every time she eats. Try some hairball paste stuff. That might help, but I think some cats are just barfy...lol!

That picture of AJ and your dad is too precious! I always wished I had a grandfather.
My father always let me run loose in the kitchen, and didn't even yell at me when I did dumb things like pour an entire box cake mix into ONE little heart shaped pan and put it in the oven in the morning before I WENT TO SCHOOL. Thank god he worked nights and was home. I credit his letting me cook by myself with my love for cooking now.

I love all your ramblings....lol
LOVE the pic of Kayla; love the pic of AJ and your dad.
LOVE your butterfly creation. So cool! Ali Edwards has the coolest butterfly mobile on her blog (it was her weekend challenge). I seriously think I may do one of those (or maybe with Easter eggs) to hang over my table.

Yeah I'm all over the butterflies too! I even have one on my banner. M.S punches are addictive. Such cute layouts and the A.J pic w/face, priceless:)

You had a busy weekend. I don't recall hearing about Marvin, but nice to see him pictured as well.
I love the pics of the kids amusing themselves. They really can find anything to do with nothing, it seems.
