Ahhhh....I think I might become a convert lol. Well partially lol. I still love the Big 4.
I ordered my February issue from Fashionista Fabrics on Friday and I got it yesterday. Ok, talk about quick shipping....
Sooooo I was going through it and these are the ones I KNOW I will make.

Then there is this one:
The line drawing:
On this one, the fabric suggestion is a crinkle batiste or a stretch satin...wouldn't jersey work? I think so.
Then as I was blog hopping the other day I saw this lovely top which was made
and the tech drawing:
by Christina of Assorted Notions. She WORKED IT! I love this top. She really inspired me to make this top. I hope the inspiration lasts lol. I did trace it out lol, so that is a start. IF I do end up making it, I will omit the tie just like she did. It's from the January 2008 Burda.
I am still putting the finishing touches on my Spring/Summer Swap. I need more casual wear. I will be ubber busy with the kids this summer but I still need my summer attire to be fierce, by my standards anyway lol. So hopefully next week I will have all the kinks worked out. RIght now I just have a STACK of patterns lol. I'm trying to come up with a color scheme. I want some color because I LOVE color but I don't want it to be rainbow bright. LOL I am also planning on adding a couple of knit pieces in there!!! LOL
Ok, I guess that is all for now! More later!
Have a good one you guys! Toodles!
Wow, these are beautiful! I have always been curious about the WOF magazine patterns... I wonder if they are more difficult to sew than Japanese craft book patterns. What does the Burda magazine actually look like, and are the instructions thorough?
I hope you'll post pictures of whatever you end up making!

Oh DO make the blouse, you will love it!
I'm fond of those same February tops. Jersey would definitely work for the sleeveless top.
