Hello....how are you all today!?!? I am good!!! Ok...so let's get the show on the road. I promised some pictures and stuff, so here they are! LOL
This is my all time favorite picture from Thanksgiving. This is my nephew and Aj. Aj is wearing the spider man outfit lol. I think I was asleep when Tony took this picture, he showed me this and I couldn't believe I missed it! LOL
The turkey........
Man............this turkey was SO good. We fried THREE, but there were a LOT of folks in the house lol.
This is Aj after dinner...yep...the "ITIS" gets EVERYBODY.
Last week I went on a field trip with Jaelyn to Tennessee...we rode the river boat...
I just LOVE these pictures.....
This is my group that I had to "watch" ...can you see me? LOL. A lot of folks thought I was a kid. Ummm, not so much. I had a great group of kids. They were SO fun lol. This is a great age.
Jaelyn and Delaney (my next door neighbor's daughter)
We also went to the Railroad museum. Umm, I was OBSESSING over all the trains. I TOOK SO MANY PICTURES!! These will def be in a mini album soon. There are TOO many that I want to scrap lol. This one is my favorite...well one of them.
And Jaelyn next to that SAME wheel......uh huh... kinda big huh? LOL
And some scrappy stuff.....
Products Used:
BG: PP and CS
Hambly Overlays
MM Staples
Creative Cafe Rubons
Colorbox Ink
American Craft Felt Thickers
These pictures were taken at the Scrap Etc. Event earlier this year. I have been holding on to these pics for MONTHS waiting on the right inspiration.....well it came, and I love the outcome. I ALMOST didn't even post this because I was thinking of submitting it. I still might, so ya better look fast lol. I might take it down lol.
And then there were cards! Some of the layouts I have not shown you (I submitted for publication, along with the cards) but these I will go ahead and share....
I started making cards with my scrap paper, that I have left over after I do LO's. I ALWAYS have scraps of BG because I HATE throwing away even the SMALLEST piece.
Products Used:
BG PAPER
MM Ledger Paper (NOT NOTEWORTHY, UGH LOL)
Ribbon Unknown
Flowers Unknown
MM Mini Brads
Tim Holtz Ink
Sassafrass Tagalicious Stamps
I left the tags blank so I can just add the sentiment later. I try and stick with normal size cards, so it won't be hard to find envelopes. I USED to have the Kreate-A-Lope but I can NOT find it, so I can't make my own envelopes anymore.
Ok, I think that is it. That's enough right? I guess tomorrow I will touch on the knitting ,sewing, and my 10,000th comment RAK winner, lol, then we will all be caught up! LOL
See ya tomorrow...Dana...YOU READY!?!?!?
Toodles!
I luv me some good ole fried turkey!! Yah!!!
@ TN rip...oh those pics are going to make great LOs!!
YAH!! Cards!!! Good luck on the publications! :o)
Wow..."Kreate-A-Lope" I am so behind in the stampin'/scrappin' world! Haha!

You guys had a great time on Thanksgiving. I live in the city and never fried a turkey, although I have had fried turkey and it's very good and much quicker than roasting in the oven.

Gotta love those cards! Really cute!! The Spider Man pics are wonderful. William wears his outfit all the time... LOL!
Posted by: Adriann | December 06, 2007 at 07:20 PM
I feel silly admitting this, but I never thought about leaving blank tags (or other spaces) on cards so that I can fill in whatever sentiment I want later. **knocking myself upside the head**. There have been so many times that I would have liked to use a card but it said Thank You instead of Thinking of You - for instance. Thanks for that simple tip.

Great pictures and projects!!
Take care!

Great picts! I am always so impressed by them!
Hubby keeps wanting to fry a turkey and I keep telling him no...I don't trust that he wouldn't catch any thing on fire! LOL

Love that entire MM Noteworthy line.
Also, that turkey sure looks good. I've never had a fried one before but I've heard alot about them. Too "chicken" to try it I think-no pun intended-lol.
Cute superheros too! Happy holidays!
