Or are the days REALLY zooming by? I finished the rest of my Christmas shopping on Friday. I AM SO GLAD THAT IS OUT OF THE WAY!!!!! I still have ONE thing left to get and that is for hubby, sooooooooo no mention on the el blog-o lol.
Friday night I took the kids to their Fall Festival, and lemme tell you it was COLD. A lot of it was outside and boy was I GLAD when they wanted to go in the haunted house!! Here is a quick picture of Kayla, who became a beautiful butterfly:
I was "THIS" close to getting my face painted....I wanted to be a butterfly too!!! And Aj wanted to be a "snake" lol
He told the lady doing the face painting that he did NOT want any glitter lol...that's my boy lol.
Yesterday I got a chance to go to my LSS Scrap Etc....BOY OH BOY. Danelle has just done a wonderful thing with Creative Cafe. This product line is AWESOME, and I am NOT just saying that. I LOVE it. I mean, I can't really put it into words. It's a fantastic idea. You can click HERE to see if a store near you will have this. Monique has a great post HERE if you'd like to check it out.
Ok...some pics...
This is what you see when you first walk in the store:
Ohhh yummy lol. I walked in took pics, then quickly put my camera up so I could shop! LOL
A few close ups...
and more...
This is the back side of the display...
and a close up....
and one more....
I mean, there are cards, and chipboard albums, and brads, and felt letters, and felt phrases, and RUBONS! OMG. I MUST HAVE ONE OF ALL OF THE RUBONS!!! I hope the quality of the rubons is good. I am kinda a rubon snob. So once I work with them I'll let you guys know. I love to promote a good product and love to tell you to stay far, far away from a bad one.
So that is it for today. Tomorrow I will show you guys my progress on my tree jacket, and hopefully what I have been sewing...hopefully! LOL
Have a great day guys!
Toodles!!!

I've got to check out the new Creative Cafe. The last time I was at a LSS, they were making room for it.
And I'm envious you've finished your xmas shopping. I've only just started!

I can't believe you're done shopping! You're crazy!
Posted by: Christy | October 30, 2007 at 12:28 PM
Just like at those cuties, and had a good time to boot. Now I am getting a little jealous with the access of stores. Of course Creative Cafe is in PA and I am New Jersey. Just like the nearest Hancock in PA and doesn't have a New Jersey store, but there is online shopping, I am living in the wrong state, lol. Take care!

You cannot seriously be finished with your Christmas shopping! I'm in awe.
I haven't even started. I'll probably be out again looking for something I forgot on Christmas Eve. Yes, that has actually happened to me.
Posted by: Kimberly | October 30, 2007 at 02:35 PM
The kids look absolutely adorable. There is a haunted prison close by to me I am going to visit. I can't wait!
I just stopped at Archivers and they don't have any of the Creative Cafe stuff. I must check at one of the other LSS in my area. I have an evening crop next Tuesday so I will check then. I really don't need anything else really!
Next time join in the fun and take some wonderful pictures. It would have made a cute scrapbook page!

Hey, I'll trade you my little girl Dorian for your little boy! Me want a boy! I told my husband that I want to try for a boy and he told me No. He said three girls is enough, and with our luck we just might have another girl!!! *sigh*
