So what is going with you guys!?? Not much here! I have a busy day today but HOPEFULLY it will all be over by noon? lol I CAN HOPE....but the rest of the week is busy for me too lol
Ok a few things....FIRST, have you guys seen Project Runway Canada? Ok, it is AWESOME! I really enjoyed watching this yesterday!!!! I can't WAIT until the next episode and I can't wait until November 14th when the Season 4 starts!!! Just AWESOMENESS!!! lol
What do you guys think about HOF? Is anyone going to try out? Or do you believe the contests are rigged?
I am SO late for this but I am going to start doing the challenges from One Little Word. Gonna see how creative I can get lol. This should be fun!
While on the subject of scrapping.....Here is another LO....I "LOVE" these pictures. I really, REALLY do lol
Can someone PLEASE tell me why my pages are scanning like this!? UGH. I'm about three clicks away from buying a wide format scanner!
Products:
CS: BAZZILL
PP: SCRAPWORKS
HS: FLOWERS AND LETTER STICKERS
MM: MINI BRADS
If you drove past my house yesterday you may have seen this:
This is the view from outside my front door....and this is the view from the inside:
Yes, my dears, I traced out my very first BWOF! YAY!!! lol. I had some good tips to tape the pattern to a big window or door to trace it and that is what I did! This is NOT as bad as I thought (the tracing). Hopefully the pattern will come together nicely!! I probably won't get a chance to work on my muslin until Thursday or Friday. So keep your fingers crossed for me!!
On a funny note, when my mailman drove by, he came up to the house...I DID NOT EVEN HAVE ANY MAIL....he asked me what in the world I was doing! LOL, he thought it was so funny. But I have the nicest mailman ever!!! LOL
Has Ruben made ya'll feel beautiful yet? lol I love this song!
Ya'll have great day today!!
Toodles!!!
Can't wait to see your first Burda creation Adrienne! Have a great day too!

Hey, taping the pattern sheet to your front door is a god idea! I couldn't do that because I don't have big glass doors... But here we get a special purpose tracing paper which is strong yet you can see through it so I trace my patterns on my big table! Don't forget to check the little pattern drawings in the instructions to check if the pattern looks exactly as it should since it's easy to make a mistake with all those lines!! Good luck, girl!!!

my mail woman wouldn't have said nothing she speeds in between deliveries.... how you gonna speed between mailboxes... the first time i saw her she was speeding down my street. and for some reason i thought... i bet thats the black chick. and sure enough when she got to me it was the black chick. the other one is white. shes nice but that black chick is not. and she is always on her blue tooth.

Thanks for the tracing tip. I just received my first BWOF magazine yesterday. I can probably use my french doors that lead to our patio out back. That way, no one will see and be left to wonder what I'm doing. LOL

No HOF for me, I've pretty much given up hope with CK as far as picking someone who is not somehow connected to them/a scrap "celeb." Sad, but true. I'm much more of a SS girl, which is ironic b/c they are owned by the same company.
And you know I have enough drama to go around... Good lord.

Love your work as usual, but you know what, the pictures really jumped off the page this time!
HOF, I would enter it just to spite all the haters on 2Peas. And, who doesn't love a good contest. My intention is to not enter, but I have every right to change my mind.

HOF- they only want winners they know or are somehow already in business with. There are not many things that make me as mad as that magazine and their pretend contest. lol Imma pray on that! I love your pages, Kayla is the girl! lol

Are you scanning each side and then stiching or pasting them together some how? If so then that first side is getting light under the scanner as it scans and that's why it has the black edge.
