Hi guys!!! How was your weekend??? Mine goes a little like this, LOL:
I was flipping channels and got SUCKED into Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D List. Now I am a reality tv show junkie, and have NO problem admitting that, BUT I have never had an interest in Cathy Griffin lol, but this was SO freakin funny!! When I say I got SUCKED IN, I got SUCKED IN!!!! TV is a dangerous thing!!! I had to TURN THE TV OFF and walk away away from it. LOL
For all my readers that scrap......I scrapped ALL weekend!!!! It felt SO good. This weeks Inspirational Wednesday will be all about scrapping...on my blog anyway.Talk about some inspiration. I have found some GREAT scrapping blogs, and can't wait to share them with you guys!!! For the first time in a LONG time, I wasn't worried about what people would think of my LO's. I have realized that most people won't say they don't like them. They pick one thing they like about it and focus on that. But everyone is different and they don't all have the same taste. Im glad I could just scrap for ME!!! LOL I will also share with you my "must have" items from CHA!!! Can't wait!!! LOL I did do an interview with Mary McCarthy who is going to be teaching a class, Fit For Beginners on Pattern Review, so tune in for that also.
How many of you already have your Ralvery invite? How many of you are waiting??? LOL, I am still waiting! Go check your status.....

The Secret World of Haute Couture
I Tried a new recipe over the weekend. Restaurant style chicken nachos:
The recipe:
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 6 green onions, sliced, white parts and tops separated
- 3 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 shredded, cooked, whole chicken breast
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup salsa
- 1/2 (12 ounce) package tortilla chips
- 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar/Monterey Jack cheese blend
- 1/2 large tomato, diced
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a 12 inch skillet over medium heat, cook and stir the garlic and white parts of the green onions in canola oil until tender. Mix in shredded chicken, salt and pepper. Toss until well coated with oil. Stir in the salsa.
- Arrange tortilla chips on a large baking sheet. Spoon the chicken mixture over tortilla chips. Top with Cheddar/Monterey Jack cheese blend and tomato. Bake in the preheated oven 10 minutes, or until cheese has melted. Remove from heat and sprinkle with green onion tops before serving.
This is for six servings. This is SO good. I mean, fantastic. LOL, I made more than this, and we ate on it twice the night I made it, and there were leftovers for the next day. SO VERY GOOD.
I am so ready to start my fall sewing its just a shame. BUT I do have three dresses that I would "LIKE" to complete, and ENJOY wearing before fall actually gets here. The last three dresses I did, I LOVE! I am going to wear my simplicity dress today!! YAY! But here are my next three dress I "MIGHT" complete! LOL
