WOO HOO!!!! It's Friday baby!!! Ok, moving on to the inspiration!! Tee hee
I have had this picture in a file I keep called "sewing inspiration" for I don't know how long....I was looking through it yesterday and wham....it just jumped out at me lol....
It's nothing major. I see a garment I like, that I may try and find a pattern for.... put it on a word doc, and save it. I was looking at eyelet fabric at Gorgeous Things because it's on sale. I LOVE
and
Now......I don't really want two garments out of the same fabric..ya know...you can do it with like pants or something....but umm, I dont' THINK I would do like two skirts...the fabric is too distinctive....so...going through my pattern stash....I found this...well not FOUND because I knew it was there...I touched it a couple of days ago lol
can you see where this is going??? LOL I ordered both fabrics yesterday....I'm going to make the straps and skirt in one color (black) and the bodice in another(white). I will line it with a cotton batiste. I think it will be cute. I can not WAIT until my fabric gets here!!!
ME ON KNITTING....ok, so my dillema with my BSCF and what to knit. I have been going through my Rowan books (FANTASTIC EYE CANDY LOL) anyway....I ran across this one....Nerissa
Now I've seen it before, but you know how it is when you look at something the first time...you just kinda look over it.....
Then I happened across THIS BLOG I think it looks FANTASTIC on her, and it will look great in red and on me!!!! I actually love the color she used, but I already have a green gable in that color! Tee hee So I am excited again!!! Summertime Tunic AKA COCO might end up in a bag somewhere...probably until I see another one finished, then I'm inspired again lol.
I casted on last night and did the first 8 rows!! I am very happy and excited about it! And it didn't take long either!!! lol I cut out a few patterns last night, and tonight I will cut the fabric. I HATE cutting out patterns. So I do them while watching TV or something. I took one to work yesterday and cut it out on my lunch lol....hey, a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do!! LOL
Alright.....that's it guys! Have a great weekend! I have NOTHING planned....so I feel some crafty goodness coming!!!

As for that black & white dress; that model is WORKIN' it! LOL I'm sure it'll be gorgeous when you whip that sucker up in no time like usual.
Rowan is definitely eye candy. The cost of their yarn is ridiculous, but they make some gorgeous patterns!

I've begun checking your blog every day. You are inspiring, but your energy sometimes makes me tired.
I had a black dress with large eyelet trim when I was a young woman. It was my favorite dress of all time.
