Ok, welcome back! lol
The Fancy Pants Lace. This stuff is so cute!!!
My sock yarn....I took another pic, but I can't find it...hmmmm, and you guys....sock yarn is so beautiful guys. OMG. I never understood why people went on, and on, and on,and ON, and ON about sock yarn, but damn. Now I understand. I want to make STUFF out of sock yarn lol, wonder how long it would take me to make a scarf out of it? LOL...tee heee
and after I cast on what...64 stitches...and YES it STILL looks like this lol...I did this...Saturday night? Sunday night? LOL
Stephanie had a VALID point...BEFORE I try this on such small needles and very good yarn...try some big needles and old yarn. YEP.....going to do that FIRST, so this will remain like this until I do that. But I plan on starting on it this week. Like TODAY....just to get the concept!!! Thanks for the tip girl! LOL
My top...yay..this one came together SO fast! LOVE that!!!!
I will take a picture in it soon
Love the invisible zipper....
I will NEVER use that "other" zipper again. This was SO easy!!! And I did it right the first time...woootttt! Thanks TOY!!! Tee hee, that's my guuuuuurrrrrrrrl ya'll! lol
I bought some new fabric yesterday....yummy ok??? I will have to post a pic of that later..tee heeeee
Now for some "eye candy". How beautiful is this??? I know it's plain and simple, but I LOVE the colors. Very nice indeed.
Check out the rest of thisFlickr gallery....OMG. See THIS is why I want to learn to quilt. So I am going to find a nice EASY pattern and get started on this. I love it. I am SO making a quilt like this. The next time Hancock has the big quilters sale....it's ON AND POPPIN!!!! You heard it here first!!!!!!
How about this turtle quilt? I woundn't make it but it is VERY nice!!!! Love the colors....look familiar?
I'm not even a Snoopy fan, but I love this...
and this...OMG.....I wonder how long it took to make....
You know I'm feeling the circles right????
and how freakin neat is this? A crochet quilt. .....wow...
some detail.
This is what I call the OMG quilt....how much freakin work went into this....
OMG
So can you tell what I will be doing next??? LOL, I told ya'll I was going to dabble in quilting!
That is IT for IW today. NEXT week will be THE bomb. TONS of pics!! You guys will get to see my newly revamped "craft" space lol...YAY!!!!!
Oh, and for all my sewing I have been doing, Jaelyn came up with a "name" for my tags to put in my clothing, or on almost anything I make lol....
ADRIENNE'S ESSENTIALS will now be sewn into the back of all my clothing. My child has a wonderful mind! I will post a pic of the tags when they get here! YAY! LOL
Have a great day guys!

Nice IW! Thanks! You should definitely try quilting. It is easy to get started. I recommend going to Joanns and heading over to the quilting section and flipping through some of the beginner books. I made my first two quilts for my girls a few years ago. Once you get the hang of it and decide on your style, the sky is the limit. I know, sew many cool crafts and sew little time!!:) Have a great day!

i found your blog through someone else's, but i don't remeber who's!. yay, for starting socks! my first pair was done on sz 4's, so maybe you'd like to go up a size or two on the needles until you get a hang of it. now, i knot some of my socks on sz 00 needles, and yes, they do take fuh-eh-va!
happy knitting!!

Adrienne, when do you sleep? Let's see, you work 4 jobs, your 9 to 5, photography, being a mother and a wife(oh yes that's work..lol), you're a scrapper, plus a scrapbook shopper, a knitter (is that a word?), a seamstress, now you're making quilts and crocheting, let's not forget you're a blogger, so when do you get rest? Inquiring minds want to know...LOL
Girl, I am right there with you. ONly difference is I am a stay at home mom. But I scrapook, I'm a wife, a mom, love to bake, love to read, write short stories, shop, make jewelry, and now I think I am going to learn how to quilt (did this with my grandmom), sew, and knit. Just seems like so much fun. It's going to be interesting. My grandmother was a great seamstress, you know you're bad, when you sew with out a pattern girl, she made her own patterns....LOL. But, myself, girl I can't sew a button on, so I think I will go over to my mother in laws and learn....

I LOVE the top!! So my colors!!! I am rather petite and have a really difficult time finding tops that fit my shoulders AND my hips :) I am not too tall (4'11 1/2") and am long waisted for someone my size. No mind you, my hips are NOT petite. Not huge just not tiny either :) I wish that I like to sew, but it is the most frustrating thing I have ever done!! Therefore, I will be struggling for the right fit as long as I am alive!! My point is that I envy you that talent and thanks for sharing it with us!!

Very cool quilt shots! I think I'll be using the colors in that first one for a felting project... very nice indeed.
Thanks for stopping by my blog, I'm glad someone else thinks my bag is beautiful... I'm unreasonably proud of the thing, hehe.
Have a great Wednesday!

That's great that you started a podcast! I will try to go check it out soon. You have a lot of energy - I thought I had a lot but I think you have more than me. I did sign up for an online sewing class through Patternreview for skirts. Have you taken any classes with them?

OMG Adrienne, I need some of that fabric you used for your blouse. Do you think that it would look good for a couple of throw pillows? That color pink is the color I have been looking for. Where did you get it? You know I will be down there next week! Hook a sista up!
