The time is finally here!! Announcing Adrienne's Essentials! www.adriennesessentials.com I truly thank God for the desire He has placed in me to take what He has blessed me to do to another level. I've always done photography and I started making spa products a few years ago, but he placed it in me to continue to be a blessing and share my gift of sewing with everyone else. Pattern Description: Misses' dress with collar and bodice variations.

Pattern Sizing: 8-18


Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
 

 
Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? VERY easy. I just used them for the collar construction.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the retro feel to this pattern.


Fabric Used: Very lightweight stretch denim.


Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? This is a GREAT basic sheath dress pattern. I will use it again if I need a BASIC sheath dress, but I won't sew this view again. I highly recommend it if you like this style.
 
Conclusion: Great pattern. I couldn't get my tie to tie like the pattern envelope but I still love it!

Jaelyn made snickerdoodle cookies. Mannnn they were GOOD lol

See, Gizmo was playing with a pen top, he thought he lost it but it was on his back. He walked around a good 5 minutes looking for it then felt it. The kids and I laughed SO hard lol. It was hilarious lol

I need an easy button some days.

Nothing like going through your pictures and your 16 year old has had a blurry photo shoot. SMH.

Went to a college fair.

I made some chicken soup. Yes it's summer. I was craving it. BAD lol

I made a LOT of it. I froze most of it into family size bags, so when it does cool off I have soup already lol

Love the way he does my hair! It's time for some color. WOOT WOOT lol

Hair was blowing in the AC lol. It has GROWN. Im fighting the urge to cut it.

Momma looked so pretty at grandaddy funeral.

My grandma did REALLY REALLY well. Keep her in your prayers.

My mom asked me to take pics at the gravesite of the military doing their thing. It was actually beautiful. I loved this shot of my grandma holding the flag.

Monique sent me these DIVINE cookies. MAN.

Saw this and fell in LOVE. It was almost $100. NO MAAM. I WILL find one similar and not as expensive.

She was KNOCKED OUT lol

This was the best, ground beef, plain white bread hamburger that I have ever cooked lol. Sometimes you just need JUNK lol

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love this style dress. I LOVE the neckline.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? This WILL be made again. I love this style dress. It's very flattering on me.

Conclusion: Very easy dress. I love it!

Butterick 5650...A Review

Soooo remember when Mimi made this skirt? I fell IN love.

Then she made it again...

Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? I didn't use the instructions

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It was EASY.


Fabric Used: Poly Shantung


Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I made it longer, made the waistband wider, added belt loops and made a sash.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I am def going to make this one again. I highly recommend it.

Conclusion: Great pattern! Thanks to Mimi for the inspiration.

One thing I did mess up on (and I KNOW BETTER) I hemmed it with my shoes OFF so I thought it was giong to be long enough. UHh. NERP lol. I needed it to just dust the floor. It will if I'm wearing flats lol. Next time, next time lol
