Beautiful post, Adrienne...
Blogging has been an amazing experience for me too, and I miss it so much... I still read my dearest friend's blogs whenever I can, but at this point my time is almost 100% spent at taking care of Henrique... Having a baby changes it all; it's a whole set of new priorities and I'm still adapting myself to this new life
(((HUGS)))

I thankful too. Finding your blog inspired me to return to sewing. (don't tell people it's cheaper than laying on a couch, it's how I make my fabric buying money, LOL)

I enjoy reading about your sewing projects. I've given your cooking projects a whirl as well. The other stuff you throw in your blog is lagniappe.

I love when bloggers share some of their personal life. It makes us REAL and helps others to know the real you and not just the "public" side. Keep on sharing.

Great post. I for one am glad that you share, it has been a pleasure sharing your ups and downs. I count you as one of my keepers.

Hi, my name is Cheryl and I am from Chicago, I have been reading (lurking) your blog for several years and have always enjoyed it all. This is another of my favorite blogs!!!

I have been reading your blog for several years. I have come to think of you as a "friend in sewing" although we have never met. Thank you for sharing your faith, family and crafts with us!

Has it really been near to seven years! I think I've been reading it for at least four, and your blog has always been one of my favorite online reading experiences. I don't comment like I used to with the big move and all the shenanigans that have occurred since, but I still read! ;o) Thank you SO much for sharing your life with us.

*snugs and cupcakes*

lurker here... :) Been reading less than a year, linked from LadyLee. I am inspired by your faith posts and the sewing projects lol... I haven't properly used a sewing machine since I was in college making panel drapes, not sure I would remember anymore!

You have an uncanny ability to say exactly what is in my heart.

You do have a beautiful family, and a beautiful heart, Adrienne!

Hi, i have enjoyed reading your blog since 2006. I first began reading because of our shared interests in sewing and knitting. I continued reading because of your openness and sincerity. I appreciate you sharing your family, life and spiritual growth. Your blog is not just entertaining but also inspirational!

Hi! I've been following along for a couple of years, at least. I find your blog to be very open and honest, without being overly so....does that make sense? Anyhoo....I live in Ttown now after almost 20 yrs in the "ham". Still miss it, so I get back to see friends as much as possible.

I'm new-ish to sewing and self taught, so I love to see all the beautiful things you make!

Yep, that's me...totally a lurker. I've been reading your blog for quite awhile. I mean, 5 years or more. I really appreciate your willingness to share all the different facets of your life, both good and bad, both happy and sad.

I think it would be hard to be a blogger and not talk about your family and church and work, because those things do influence you as an creative person. But I think you've struck a great balance with it.

I love all the little tidbits you share. Your spiritual journey is particularly impactful for me, as I struggle with my own. Your wonderful family is a delight to see...they're all growing up so quickly! And sometimes you just plain make me laugh.

So keep up the good work! And I'll keep reading. :)

Adrienne, you were one of the main reasons that I got into blogging. I love your openess with your readers and your realness.. You have always been one of my favorite bloggers..

I have been lurking for a few years now and as a sewer I love your sewing reviews. You truly make some beautiful things. I have seen a lot of growth in you too and this inspires me also. Oh, I am from Perth Western Australia.

When I started to read the post, I thought ... Oh Lawd ... please tell me she's not closing this blog down!!! :D

Now that I know you're not I can say, although I haven't been coming by long, it's been a pleasure "knowing" you and seeing you grow in faith. I love the love you have for your family and for your craft.

I'm definitely going to stick around ... can't wait to see what else you have to share.

I will come out of lurkdom today to say that I really enjoy your blog. I've been reading ladylee and Serenity's blog for years and just recently added yours to the list a few months ago.

I keep going back and forth on starting a blog but ultimately have decided to do one. I need to decide how much to share.

Thanks for being so open and sharing. I love love love your sewing post as well and you have inspired me to learn sewing.

HI Adrienne,
I'm Linda one of your lurkers. I've been reading your blog for probably over five years. I definitely enjoy everything you share. I have seen the growth in you and your kids I actually said to myself when I saw their back to school pictures wow they're getting big. LOL

Hi, my name is Mechelle and I live in Los Angeles, CA. I have commented on here before but for the most part, I am a serious lurker. I love reading your posts though, and I have seen your kids grow up. It almost feels like I know you. I probably started reading a couple of years ago, but I so enjoyed it that I went back and started from the beginning. I hope that doesn't cross the line between lurker and stalker...=O) Anyway, your family is beautiful and I look forward to more reading.

Hi,
I'm a lurker to. I've made about 2 comments and have been reading your blog since 2007. I don't have a blog. Maybe one day I will. I feel if I bumped in to you in the local supermarket I would give you a high five and you would think who's that wierdo? I feel like I honestly know you. Don't worry you wont' bump into me, cause I live in England. Brilliant blog.

My name is Cashana and have been reading your blog for years, I seem to like being a lurker. But I have loved your journey so far and hope you continue to do all the things that you enjoy and make you happy. I live in Alabama too.

I'm Jennifer from Massachusetts. I am a lurker and I have loved reading your blog for many years! :)
