I'm feeling better so I've started back sewing! WOOHOO. I've been on pinterest and reading blogs and stuff, getting all kinds of ideas and inspiration from everybody now I can make some stuff happen lol.
Ok, that's it. Trying to get back to normal. I'm finally off my pain meds (THANK GOD) and lately I've been sleeping like a pregnant woman. Seriously. My clock is all screwed up but that is part of the healing process.
I'm able to do a little bit more but NOT much. I can move around for like 15 or so minutes at a time before I'm totally exhausted. Can't grocery shop or walk around the mall. Or even to the mailbox lol.
Household chores are still being handled by the family. I did cook dinner the other day and I was TIYEDDDDD. Like for real lol.
But God is good and I'm thankful. SOOO thankful, but that's another post for another day.
Here are some additional pictures:
Pattern Description: Pullover, lined dress has single-layer, bias overlays (wrong side may show), semi-fitted bodice, elasticized (seamed) waist, and very narrow hems. Self bias binding extends into shoulder straps and finishes neck/armholes.
Pattern Sizing: 6-14 I cut the size 6
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow? Super easy.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Loved the entire pattern.
Fabric Used: Cotton Voile
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? This WILL be made again. I know for myself and my oldest daughter. We both love this dress.
Conclusion: Great pattern. Very easy. Took a couple hours from start to finish. My daughter LOVES this dress.
Now I loved the first book. It was slow going but once you got to the games (Chapter 12) it went by SUPER quick. I could NOT put it down.
I took the girls to the midnight showing of the movie. Kayla loved it. Jaelyn & I hated it. Well not really HATE, it just wasn't like I thought it was going to be. Seriously. I KNOW the book is always better but MAN. I just felt like they left a LOT of key elements out. After the movie seems like either you loved it or hated it. I didn't hear much in between lol.
The last two books.
The second book went by in a blur. IT WAS SO GOOD. I loved it better than the first book. Like it was GOOD. I could not WAIT to open the third book to see what happened.
The THIRD BOOK????
Man, I was ready for it to be OVER. I hated it. It had good parts, very well written but it was just SO SAD.
I'm glad I read it. Seems like I'm back to reading again!
Now I can tackle that HEAP of books on my Kindle APP! LOL
Have you read the series? What did you think?

Here is another one lol. I promise I love these! SUPER simple. I have made SO many lol since I posted THIS one. Can we say addicted much. Fabric was 56 wide and it's textured.
This is super sheer so I underlined it with a white fabric.
I wore it with a thin belt because I still can't wear anything too restricting on my stomach. Next time I'll do a different belt.
I didn't realize my jacket wasn't opened right. Oops. I LOVE this jacket. Just wanted to show one pic with the jacket open and one with it zipped. This was taken pre-surgery. Not feeling THAT good yet lol.
Ok, that's all I got! LOL
I've been uhh on "rest" lately so I've been watching a LOT of movies & reading lol. My favorites of this bunch were Limitless and The Next Three Days. Repeaters was ok but got on my nerves after a while lol. Beastly was cute lol.
A Murder of Crows was excellent. I REALLY enjoyed it, I need to watch Thick as Theives again because I honestly don't remember anything about it lol, Antitrust was good. I remember watching it when it first came out, Tresspass? HORRIBLE! I LOVE Nicholas Cage and he was terrible in this. IMO. The Resident was really good. Morgan was CREEPY. Trust_ Man. Good but as parents we REALLY need to be aware. The Double was good & The Lazarus project was uhh interesting lol
What are y'all watching? Any movie recommendations??? LOL
Why is it that Nextflix movies are some that I have NEVER heard of? LOL
Loved it on the runway? Seen it in a magazine?

Alright, what y'all got?
I'm on strict bed rest for a while so let's play ummk? lol
Hey guys! I'm home and resting.
Thank you all for your emails/messages/visits/deliveries. It means soooo much to me. Y'all already know this blog is MORE than just a blog. Y'all are like family!
I'm doing OKAY. I'm in pain and a LOT of it but on bed rest for about 8-10 weeks.
I've had a scare with fever but new meds helped a LOT with that.
Some days have been better/worse than others but I'm keeping a praise on my lips & in my heart.
There is NOTHING too hard for God!
I was planning a trip to NY but that has been put on hold until I am totally healed.
I'll be around on these here innna nets and as my body allows I'll be cutting out patterns/fabrics and I'll try to get some sewing done. MAYBE. Highly doubt my caretakers will allow me lol. Im not actually able to go up the stairs alone, so I guess "planning" a wardrobe will be fun lol.
I guess this is a great time to do some scrapping huh? Nerp, all of that is upstairs too lol. I have been knitting though lol.
Take it easy and thank you again. You sure do know how to make a girl feel loved!
I am scheduling this to post on April 3. Today is March 19.
I've had a battery of tests done the past few weeks and I haven't been feeling well AT ALL.
I know this is all a part of God's plan for my life so I'm GOOD. I KNOW He has me in his hands.
From the very beginning of all of this, I've said whatever God will is for me, is FINE. His will is what I want for my life.
Please keep me in your prayers. I'll will be in for a few days but I'll update once I get home and settled.
I remember talking to my good, good friend and I would tell her I just want to hear from God. I need Him to speak to me. She KEPT telling me to STOP looking for the burning bush.
You mean God's voice isn't going to be this big booming James Earl Jones Voice??? lol
When I go through different situations and I'm looking for God to answer me, I was looking for the big burning bush.
Uhh doesn't happen like that. Well not for me anyway.
I'm slowly learning how God speaks to ME. If I dream it? It's been happening. And kinda quick.
God is speaking to me through His word more and more. It's AMAZING to me. I can be seeking Him for something and the next thing I know, either someone will text me a scripture saying they were thinking of me and it's EXACTLY what I need or it will come across the pulpit. NEVER FAILS.
The more I'm in my Word, the easier it is for me to recognize when God is talking to me. When I DON'T spend enough time in the Word (like when I was strung out reading Hunger Games) it's harder to hear from God. Almost like my mind is fuzzy. If that makes ANY sense. That isn't to say that I can ONLY read the Word and read it ALL DAY LONG. Impossible, but I have to carve time out and be faithful.
So right now, I'm working on remaining faithful to studying & reading God's Word.
I'm not perfect, just striving to be the woman God wants me to be. Keeping my life lined up with the WORD!
