This is my Toya inspired dress lol.
I was talking with Toya while she was working on her dress. I already had the pattern in my stash but it was for the jumpsuit, NOT the dress lol. When I saw how gorgeous her dress was, I HAD to make it. Once I saw her dress, I was finished with mine in 2 days time lol. I have always thought halter tops/dresses weren't flattering on me, but I see differently now lol. So I gotta say thanks to Toy for jumpstarting my sewing mojo lol. I actually made this a while back, but I was just able to wear it a couple weeks ago. LOVED IT!
Pattern Description: Misses' dress and jumpsuits designed for day or evening. Sewing patterns.
Pattern Sizing: 6-14. I made the 14
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes!
YES!
Were the instructions easy to follow? SUPER easy!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love everything about this pattern.
Fabric Used: Cotton sateen. I think I got this from denverfabrics.com a couple years ago.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I HIGHLY recommend this dress, not sure if I will sew it again though.
Conclusion: If you like halters, this is a GREAT pattern.
you look great, especially for someone who sworn they could never wear a halter dress. My job is done and I'm quite flattered, lol

Very cute. I'm picking apart, for the third time, the halter dress I'm making. Hope I look as good as you do when I'm finished.
