I am a long time reader, but first time commenter. We have a ipad and love it so much! My techie fiance loves that kind of thing and got it as a gift from his family for graduating college! It is a splurge, but very fun! I highly recommend it!

And OMG, re: the van- I'm so with you on that one! Some friends and I were talking about that the other day: how come all the ice cream vans are so scuzzy looking?! I'm sure they looked like that when we were kids, we just didn't notice it!
The Dearest thinks I should get an iPad..not sure why but I think it's cuz he's a tech geek and wants me to get one so he doesn't feel guilty about buying another techie thing. LOL

I got an IPad last month and I love love love it. It's so much fun, I use it to play games, check facebook, read books (favorite thing about it) and just love how portable it is. I just think it's the greatest gizmo ever. Not that I'm trying to egg you on to get one. But trust me you will love it.

Those speakers are too cute. I want an IPAD too. Now regarding the ice cream truck - my kids get a popsicle from one of those yucky vans once a year (after we leave a certain pool). Thank God for prayer!

I so want an iPad but I just bought a netbook so I guess it won't happen anytime soon. I haven't gone into the Apple store to play with one.
