Hump Day Ramblings...

• Didn't realize laying on my stomach did that lol.

• Totally in love with google calender and google sync!!!! makes my life SO easy!

• I've been up since 3:50 am. Well I kinda went back to sleep for a few minutes *ahem* but you know lol

• I need to get up out of this chair. I have stuff to do!

• Why is it when the kids clean up, the laundry basket ends up overflowing? LOL

• I bought that new ipod/iphone app where you can organize your fabric stash so I plan on organizing and doing a de-stash sale/ebay in the next couple of weeks.

•  I want to take some pics of myself. I feel the need for some new profile pics lol.

• The kids waited to play hangman.  It's almost midnight. SMH

• Until there is no more breath in my body.
• The episode of Family guy is on where stewie beats the tar out of brian !LOL LOVE this episode!

• Today is the first day of summer. Ummm felt like summer back in March! LOL

• Just when I think my stomach is back to normal, it betrays me. ugh.

• I STILL don't believe that's why our stomach hurts lol.

• I wash a load of clothes, and a new piece of fabric lol. Love it lol.

• I LOVE this stuff!!!!

• Just made a mango smoothie. YUM.

• Thought I had enough fabric for a dress and I don't. Went to get some and no one has it! BOOOO!

• So ready to start my KAL. I want to KNIT!

• The kids are making cupcakes. I'm going to eat one lol.

• My stomach STILL isn't right! LOL

• Aj got a haircut on Saturday and it's already growing back lol.

• I regret doing something, but it is what it is. Should have left well enough alone.

• Zanete had surgery and it went well. SO Glad she is ok!

• I wanted to swoop up to Nashville real quick like, but I can't! BOOO!

• People seem fascinated that my hair is real/mine. Not sure if that's a compliment or an insult lol. I mean does it LOOK like I have a weave? LOL

• I ordered some yarn so I can KNIT! I hope it get's here before my vacation lol.

More pretty fabric...

I think I MIGHT have a slight problem lol. Too bad I don't want any help! LOL

   

I fell in LOVE with this black and white print with just splashes of pink.  I have to find the perfect pattern for this. I have a couple in mind, but it HAS to speak to me lol. This one is a cotton lycra, but it has the heaviness of a twill. I'm not good with describing fabrics and the content but I know pretty fabric lol and I LOVE prints lol.
   

BE STILL MY HEART! It was hard to pick a favorite between the two of these. I LOVE the colors in this. This one is also a cotton lycra. Gotta love fabric with a little stretch lol.

These will be special dresses. Special fabric, special fabric shopping trip :)

Now I need to sew LOL.

Hump Day Ramblings...

• My air conditioner caught on fiya today. Smoke and all. All I could think about was getting my fabric, laptop and camera out the house lol.

• When people show you who they are...BELIEVE them.  I don't think people don't really change.  I think people show you who they WANT you to see in the beginning and show you who they really are in the end.

• I had such a productive day!!!

• Sometimes, not having any expectations of people is THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO. 

• This is the kids lazy week.  Next week it's ON AND POPPIN! lol

• I don't know WHY my table isn't clean lol. Guess because I haven't cleaned it lol.

• Chico cries when the kids go outside and don't take him. Like he has a FIT.

• I want to go swimming.

• I NEED TO SHAMPOO MY HAIR.

• I think I'm going to wear my hair in a bun all summer, or some type of protective style. I don't want it on my neck and I really don't want to cut it. I'm normally itching by now to have a hair cut or a "new" look but I'm pretty happy with my hair.

• I love that I can talk to you about anything. Having you in my life and me being a part of yours is a complete blessing and I don't take it for granted.

• I wish Tony was here right now :(

• I wish you could see past your own dumb shit and see what everyone else is seeing. You are truly about to miss out.

• When you have done all you can, take comfort in knowing you did all you could do.

• The sun is rising :) It's beautiful.

• I really love and enjoy early mornings.

• Today is going downhill very quickly.

• The cleaners may have LOST one of my dresses.

• My cordless phone never keeps a charge. The kids STAY on it.

• The house phone is for them. I hardly ever answer it.

• Jaelyn made brownies and was pissed because we ate them all up. Gotta get in where you fit in lol.

• I SERIOUSLY need to shampoo my hair.

• I need to try and finish Jaelyn's dress. Well, I NEED to start on it lol.

• Google calender is THE BOMB! Seriously.

• I "THINK" the cleaners found my dress. I need to go and "Identify" it. *eyeroll*

• I GOT MY DRESS!!!!!

• Went to the movies with my girls. SO spur of the moment. SO NEEDED!

• I had a maternity session today and it was AWESOME!

• I am gonna OD on these cherries.

• WHY can I not find blood orange soda ANYWHERE!? I'll go to World Market later in the week.

• I made Jaelyn a simple skirt this morning before church. Yes, before church lol.

• Right this very second...I'm HOT lol.

• I'm excited but  nervous as hell!

I can't even start to tell y'all how wonderful things are for me and my family right now.

I have had my share of obstacles this year, (YES it's only June lol) and I'm in the middle of a trial RIGHT NOW, but I promise you....I KNOW that when I come through this I am going to be so much better!

I'm not letting anyone or ANYTHING take my joy!

Y'all just don't know lol.

Be encouraged ya'll! Cry, scream, kick and fight if you have to, but BE ENCOURAGED!!!! Hopefully y'all have someone you love and trust that you can confide in. Talk to them, let them be a shoulder...if not..ENCOURAGE YOURSELF!!

It's a busy print, but with the right pattern, it will be FAB!!!!

This Rayon Jersey will be PERFECT for the fall. I already know what I want to make with it lol.

   

This Cotton / Lycra blend has happy written ALL OVER IT. Well, it made ME happy lol.

I don't know why I'm in the mood to fabric shop lol. I did make a dress the other day, it's just for Kayla and not me lol.

• WEDNESDAY MAY 26, 2010 might possibly go down in the history of all things Adrienne as THE BEST FREAKING DAY ON FREAKING EARTH!!!!!! NO SERIOUSLY!!!!!

• Did I say that today was a good day?! LIKE SUPERB!?!?

• My kids had McDonalds for dinner lol.

• It was a good day in their book too.

• OMG, I have THE MOST STUNNING FREAKING FABRIC EVER! I'm sure I'll post pics before this goes up lol.

• I had a lady to kinda prophesy something over my life and the life of a close friend. When I say she knew stuff that I'm going through that I have only told ONE person about and they don't know this lady and I didn't know this lady but what she told me was for BOTH of us. It was weird in a peaceful, God is answering my prayers kinda way. I was literally FLOORED.  When I told them, they were floored. I receive it though.

• The kids are out of school. They are happy. Me ummmmmmm. LOL yeah I just lost ALL my "ME" time lol. We will have fun though lol. I have a busy summer planned for them.

• The OCD Project on VH1 is ummm yeah lol. Interesting lol.

• I just walked the heaviest bag of trash down the driveway to the trash can. I FORGOT to tell Tony to take it out :(. It was REAL heavy.

• Ok, so the kids decided they wanted to go to school today. The last day. I'm SO going to enjoy today lol. Let's see what I can get into ;)

• I have a REALLY huge (like 80ft) of bubble wrap sitting next to me lol.

• I love when I order stuff, it ships quick and there is NO shipping charges!

• I have a box I was SUPPOSED to mail Thursday. Umm today is Friday. I'm going to the post office THIS morning lol.

• I love counting down. That is all.

• My mojo is returning. Gonna sew for Kayla first.

• I had a project that was a COMPLETE FAIL. I think that's what zapped my mojo. NOT all the sewing from the cruise lol. I'll post that fail project soon lol.

• I feel like I'm rambling a lot lol. Today is ONLY Friday lol.

• Everytime I get an email from someone or some business I just don't associate myself with, I either mark it as spam or unsubscribe.

• I've done SO well with my to do list today! WOOT WOOT!

• It's 11:48am  Friday morning and I'm drinking champagne lol. It's 5pm SOMEWHERE lol. Maybe I'll pour some orange juice it in and call it a mimosa lol.

• I woke up to clouds and thunder this morning and now it's a BEAUTIFUL Saturday afternoon!!! My house is spotless and I'm looking foward to hanging with my "framily" (friends that are family) later on this evening!

• All my new fabric is washed ironed and put away! YAY ME!

• Memorial day was off the chains lol. Seriously lol.

• Heading to yet ANOTHER state with my mom to fabric shop lol. Yep. *sings* I'll always love my momma, she's my favorite girl lol.

• I bought some shrimp and the kids IMMEDIATELY thought I was making shrimp and grits lol, umm NO lol.

• I bought the same pattern twice because I like one view and Jaelyn likes another lol. This should be interesting lol.

• I'm addicted to lycra and making swimsuits lol.

• I watched this show called Diary of a Mad Black Man on Showtime the other night. INTERESTING!

• LOVING the Cooking Channel on Direct TV..Channel 232 lol

• I'm doing so well with keeping up with my email lol...now if I could do the same thing with blogs lol.

• Had a drink called a Vegas Bomb. IT WAS SO GOOD.

• WHY do I feel like I'm catching a cold!? OH HELL NO...lemme go medicate RET NAH!

• Spent the morning fabric shopping in Nashville with my Mom and daughters.  We had a great time and I got some FABULOUS fabrics! I'll post them in a couple days lol.

I took a little trip out of town the other day and once I finished what I HAD to do lol, I went into a fabulous fabric store. I had to stop myself from having a fit lol.

I couldn't get a cell phone signal in the store but as SOON as I got out I was sending emails....girl look at this fabric!?! LOL isn't this TDF!? LOL. I do believe we both had a fabric-gasam lol.

This blue floral is sooo stunning. I almost didn't see it. I saw it folded on the table and was like ohhh what's that! LOL I ran to get the roll and have it cut lol.
   

I have searched HIGH AND LOW for a yellow cotton like this! I think it's a cotton voile. I LOVE IT.
   

Lycra for another swimsuit. I ordered some fabric and when I saw this, I HAD to get it. The fabric that I ordered has been "stashed" lol.

This is my FAVORITE piece!!!! The fabric store is literally jam packed with fabric. I ALMOST didn't see it!!! I'm SO glad I did. It has a black solid border that can either be placed on the top or the bottom.  *be still my heart*

Now, if my sewing mojo would come back, I could sew lol. Might have to do something  quick and easy to get the mojo flowing again lol. I think all the sewing I did for the cruise drained me lol.
