I'm sitting here tonight, updating my calendar and just thinking about the time.
I have a daughter that will be in highschool next year.
Y'all know I've just about raised her. I mean, I know that other things will come up but all her foundation is there.
She has her head on straight. She really is a good kid. But where did that time go.
I'm blessed y'all.
Just right now. I'm blessed.
Who knows what the future holds for my children, but they really are great kids.
Like really.
They don't give me any trouble, and any of you that have met them know they are respectful and very well behaved.
THey know how to act.
They know how to be good kids when they are out.
They might be hellians when they are at the house, but they really are good kids.
They are SUPER funny.
Smart.
Healthy.
Just good kids.
I've done all I know how to make sure they go out int he world and aren't screwed up.
I just want them to do well as adults.
Yeah, they aren't grown yet,
I guess I'm just having a moment lol.
I love them.
I pray they do well as they continue to get older.
That is all lol.
Awww!!! It's evident that you and your hubby are great parents. You have set the strong foundation that your children need and I am sure they will make you proud.

I work in a large, urban school district and I see too many children without their heads on straight. You are so blessed. It's a greater blessing that you realize just how blessed you are! Continue to love and nurture your children. They will always need their mother, so do go missing them just yet!

Aren't kids wonderful. Our baby just got her first job teaching. She graduates next week. We've been blessed to, and had/have wonderful kids/adult children. It does go quickly but the best comes with grandkids. We have nine and all are complete joys. We spoil them, give them things thier parents don't want them to eat, play with them and love them and then send them home to drive thier parents crazy. ha ha It is so much fun. So enjoy the high school years, the broken hearts, the cars, dating, picking colleges etc.... It goes quick.

I pray that I can mold my children to be the same. I have a vision of me having a house full of hellions. I think that when I have children, I'm going to have to start going to church more...to stay "prayed up" so I don't have to kill the children...lol

You will have more and more of these reflections as they pass into young adulthood. And you can tell that you and Tony have done a great job with your children...you've provided opportunities for them as well as providing them with great role models. You should be proud.
Now can I offer a word of advise, I think the greatest thing that I have accomplished in my life is raising three well adjusted, normal women...however, as you watch them make mistakes over the next few years, remember these are their mistakes, not yours and they have to make them to become wonderful & amazing people.
Enjoy the next few years...they will go fast...but you will see them transform from children to adults right before your eyes and it is an awesome thing to behold.
