THIS BOOK SUCKS. I made it almost halfway and I just can't get into it. I mean the characters are okay, but that's about it lol. So ummm on to the next one lol. FYI, if y'all get a pic of JUST a book and no commentary, I must LOVE it. I'll only say something if is SUCKS. Like this one did lol.
Ha!
My mantra has always been: Don't force yourself to finish a book just because you think you have to. (Same with food or a movie or people. If they aren't good, move on!)

Don't you just hate a bad book, especially if it's by one of your favorite Authors, I try to give mine at least one pass everybody misses but I really hate a good book with a bad ending ARGH! I have one to recommend it's Bring on the Blessings by Beverly Jenkins, let me know what you think if you read it or if you've read it already.

One more The Darkest Child by Deloris Phillips, not a happy, happy feel good book but still a really good book.

OMG!!!! Yes it DID. It was painful.
I'd like to recommend The Help by Kathryn Stockett. I enjoyed it very much.

I read this - it doesn't get better - but the ending works. The second last Nevada Barr pissed me off too - the one about the wolf study on Isle Royale. The author mentions roughly 100 times that the genset is shut off at night but then in the "heat of the battle" GETS ON THE COMPUTER AND SENDS AN E-MAIL! AAAGH!
