- All of my crafting mojo is flowing at the same time and now I don't know if I want to scrap, bead, sew or knit! LOL
- Have y'all seen the new vogue patterns??? Ooookkk.
- I never fry french fries. I always bake them.
- I spent all of Friday and Saturday washing fabric for upcoming projects. I have a pile a mile high to cut now :-)
- Why is it when you get a package in the mail that is bigger than the mailbox, the mailman brings the big package to the door but puts the other mail in the mailbox?!
- Do you ever look at the time that email comes to your inbox and wonder why people aren't asleep!?!? LOL
- I haven't baked ANYTHING sweet in my house since the holidays and today Kayla said she wanted to make a cake. Yes she made one.
- I am FINALLY going to the post office today but only because I HAVE to at this point lol.
- I am on season FOUR of L Word....yep...totally addicted!

- We do NOT use bar soap in this house. Read this article . We did a case study when I was in nursing school and I haven't looked at bar soap since.
- Jaelyn wants a new digital camera. I think I'll get it for her before she gets out of school.
- I like my fries with ranch dressing and ketchup. SO good.

- Jaelyn doesn't believe in ironing clothes, and WHAT is the point of ironing blue jeans?!! LOL Her words not mine lol.
- I let Jaelyn warm the car up in the mornings. She thinks she is doing something lol.
- I don't sew to impress folks on my blog. If I NEVER do an advance vogue pattern should it really matter! Damn. Get a life.
- Kayla could CARE LESS if her clothes match. As long as they smell like washing powder, she knows they are clean.
- I love getting books from my library. My library ladies are a mess lol. REALLY nice and sweet.

I'm feeling the urge to read a good smutty novel. Any suggestions?..
I read a WONDERFUL book named Pandora I need to find it because I never reread books, but this was too good to throw away!
Jaelyn is a girl after my own heart! Smell clean and who cares if they match or are wrinkled?

love that last one!
Posted by: EssenseVibez | April 01, 2009 at 05:13 AM
I bake my fries too. The kids love them. Do you mix the ranch and ketchup? I ask because I mix ranch and salsa when I make fish tacos as a sauce to top them with. Sounds gross but yummy.
Posted by: Edris | April 01, 2009 at 06:10 AM
I baked some fries yesterday! Thanks for the article on bar soap. I guess I am going to have to spend a little more money to be germ free.
Have a good day!

@ vogue comment. I have notice the internet is just like middle/high school. Just straight wankster, but whatever such is life.
My family love french fries with honey mustard. And I LOVE mine with Micky D's sweet and sour sauce.

I am totally with Jaelyn on the ironing...I HATE it and hardly wear clothes again if they need to be ironed
Posted by: Kristi | April 01, 2009 at 09:12 AM
i listen to some of the drug commercials and i think i would rather have whatever i'd be taking the medicine for than to go through those side effects... they are worst than the ailment!!
i'm going to have to side with Jaelyn... i hate ironing too! hook that girl up with some Downy Wrinkle reducer!!! that stuff is the best!
have you had sweet potato fries!!! baked or fried... gurl heaven!
Pepsi slushis are the only way i drink it!

One day(not anytime soon), I will be able to stop giggling at the Vogu comment!
I just called my husband (the damned mailman) to pose your question(which I've always wondered about) and he is totally stumped... Can't give me a good reason why! LOL
Going to read the bar soap article asap!
Posted by: MrsSaditty | April 01, 2009 at 09:34 AM
I bake my fries too but I only eat Chick-Fil-A's waffle fries with ranch. At home I eat them with BBQ sauce.
I just finished reading "Every Woman Needs a Wife". It's not one I would've picked up on my own, but I couldn't put it down after my sister dropped it in my lap.
Posted by: Flora | April 01, 2009 at 09:52 AM
i love fries with ranch- people think i'm crazy! i also like my onion rings with mayo!
did you know that the bar soap wins in the article you linked? what was your case study about? only use liquid soap myself- everyone uses it for hand washing but aside from that i'm the only one who uses it for showers and such only because i love the variety of scents and bottles.

I do have a couple of suggestions. There is a triology that Ann Rice wrote under the name A.N. Roquleaure called the Sleeping Beauty triology. I enjoyed the writing when I read some years ago. The first book is called, "The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty, "Beauty's Punishment", and "Beauty's Release". There is S&M involved, but it's enjoyable to read none the less.

"I don't sew to impress folks on my blog. If I NEVER do an advance vogue pattern should it really matter! Damn. Get a life."
What IS an advance vogue pattern anyway! LOL
"Jaelyn put a fortune telling fish in my hand and it said i was in love lol"
What is a fortune telling fish????

Vogue has a pattern for M.C. Hammer Pants?
I won't touch that.

I've been lurking on your blog for a minute now. I just wanted to say I really enjoy reading your ramblings and seeing the beautiful clothes you make.

Have you read Afterburn by Zane?

Okay Jaelyn with the baking skills....I see you, girl!
NORA ROBERTS! My favorite smut lady, but good stories...homegirl does her research. If you like murder along with your smut, check out her "In Death" series. Roarke would set anyone off. *fans self*
I have the HARDEST time keeping my mouth shut sometimes. My friends will say stuff just knowing that it's killing me to not be able to give my opinion; because if I did I'd go straight to hell. LOL
Posted by: Sherri | April 01, 2009 at 06:27 PM
Hey Adriene
I am with Jaelyn on the ironing. I will put all of my clothes back in the drying before I iron them. That is why I wear tops that I don't have to iron.
I love my fries with either ranch dress or, ketchup, mayo and mustard mixed together. I am going to email you the name of this book that I really liked. as soon as I find it.
I do not drink Pepsi under any circumstances but I love a ice cold slushy coke. mmm i got one in the freezer right now.
I will watch dishes at other people's houses but I hate washing my own.

The thing about the drug commercials is that they say that ISH so smooth and calm like possible death ain't a problem. LMBO...WTF? The sise effects are worse than the crap you're trying to treat.
Posted by: Thomisia | April 01, 2009 at 10:35 PM
girrrrrrl, now that's scary, I eat fries with ranch and ketchup. Gtfooh!!!!!!!! and tell whoever said some dumb ass shit about sewing to impress people on your blog something for me, "If you take 12 hours of minding your business, and 12 hours of leaving mine the hell alone, you would have a full day, beyooootch!" You can tell them Dana said that. LOL
Posted by: Dana | April 01, 2009 at 10:57 PM
Hi Adrienne,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm glad we think alike on the new Vogues. OMG! I loved this latest post of yours. Sorry, though, I don't have any smutty book suggestions though.
Posted by: Elizabeth | April 02, 2009 at 06:20 AM

Posted by: Cynta | April 02, 2009 at 09:37 AM
kayla and my baby are living in the same world. He can care less what goes with what, he just wants something to put on.

You said: "I hardly ever drink sodas"; I hardly ever drink anything that isn't water, coffey, tea or milk, LOL!
Posted by: Tany | April 02, 2009 at 10:34 AM
AWESOME list!!!!!
Now I seriously want some of those ranch fries you get from the wings place. Thanks a lot...LOL

I've been on a reading kick. I'm in love with JR Ward books. Paranormal Smut.
Posted by: Lashell | April 02, 2009 at 11:11 AM
Totally agree on the Advanced Vogue patterns - most of them are FUGLY anyway. Speaking of fugly, have you seen the Knitting Daily (Interweave Knits) galleries that were posted this week? I'll link you if you want.
LOL on the drug side effects - Jim and I always crack up at these. Most of the side effects are worse than the thing the drug is supposed to fix!!!
Posted by: Robin | April 02, 2009 at 01:44 PM
I have to admit it, I'm a pepsi addict. I need to stop, lol.
Yeah, I agree. Sometimes you want to just tell people to shove it, but you're better off just thinking it and not saying it. But it is tempting. :):):)
Posted by: Lory | April 02, 2009 at 08:35 PM
you know, i love these hump day ramblings and it made me want to do some kind of ramblings on my blog. i have bee having a problem keeping up with my blog and if you don't have any problem with it i would like to do some kind of a ramblings thing on mine. in any case i love reading what is going on with you.
Posted by: elsie | April 02, 2009 at 10:38 PM
Rambling Responses!!! LOL
Sometimes mail servers are slow and that's why the time stamp doesn't reflect the REAL time that the person sent the email.
Why don't you print the postage online instead of going to the post office
Thank for the article on the soap.
I love fries with Ranch....sometimes if I want a artery clog I do mayo, mustard and ketup all mixed (well)
I don't believe in ironing either I believe in grabbing it from the dryer really really really quickly and hanging it up.
I love the drug commercials that basically say if it doesn't kill you this drug will work wonders on you!!!
Posted by: Melanie | April 03, 2009 at 09:48 AM
I think I am one of the few people in the world who do not like Ranch dressing! LOL! I always get a weird look at parties, but whatever. I know the drug you are referring to because my doctor prescribed it for me for rosacea/adult acne. Now that the weather has warmed up, I like to spend my weekends outdoors. I also have a vacation planned for Vegas so it would have been nice if my doctor mentioned that lovely little tidbit. {she said with major attitude]
On a serious note, I saw on the news this morning that there was pretty severe weather that rolled through Alabama. I don't know if you were affected but I hope all is well with you and your family.
Posted by: Joy | April 03, 2009 at 10:55 AM
My daughter asked me Ma! if the drug has that many side affects why take it...lol
My daughter is Queen of No Ironing allowed...haha
Google "Urban Novel" and you will definitely find some smutty novels.. I've been on a roll with them.
Posted by: sheila | April 03, 2009 at 11:27 AM
My inner bohemian is loving the new Vogue patterns. Imma make me some hammer pants just like the ones I made in the 80's!! (but not in that animal print, maybe a solid color this time:)
I obviously am not paying enough attention to the other commenters. I miss all the snarky ones! Maybe that's good 'cause I wouldn't be able to bite my tongue!
Posted by: Toni | April 03, 2009 at 11:41 AM
Ok, for the record, I am SOOOO ticked off at how long it's been since I've, not only read, but commented on your blog. I have been SUCH a slacker. And just look at all that I've been missing.
Girl, you are ROCKING that sewing machine! Mine is sitting here behind me just mocking me because I haven't used it in so long! You do yo thing, Adrienne! :-)
Anyway, glad to see you're doing well. I was thinking about you the other day and wanted to call you so badly. But I can't seem to put my hands on your number (yes, AGAIN!) Take care!
Posted by: Dawn Bibbs | April 04, 2009 at 06:36 PM
I thought I was the only one who didn't fry fries. I tried to last night and burned them to a crisp. Back to baking for me.
Posted by: Renee | April 05, 2009 at 09:50 AM

Whoa @ the Vogue patterns! Can we say frump city?
The link to the article on bar soap sounds interesting, but it didn't work for me. I'll try it again.
Funny post, as usual! :-D
