I don't know if it is that time of year or WHAT but I am in a decorating mood!!!
I don't know what it is but I have fallen IN LOVE with Fleur-de-lis. I am thinking it was my recent trip to New Orleans lol
I hope to have these pieces up this week. I have two of the top ones and they will go on either side of my window lol.
I am PROBABLY going to redecorate the entire house, but I will do it one room at a time lol.
The dining room is obviously first lol.
I need a new ceiling fan, and there is some UGLY wallpaper boarder that I am going to take down and repaint the wall, but it will be the same eggshell that the walls already are.
I want some new switch plate and plug covers(when I painted I got umm lazy and painted on them lol) and I am going to make some curtains and get a pretty new curtain rod and I THINK we will be done in there lol.
Next up will be my bedroom.
LAWD, I have had THIS fabric wanting to make a duvet cover for my bed for THE LONGEST. It WILL get made during the month of March. I won't even attempt to start on it now lol. I KNOW I won't do it lol.
These fabric will make accent pillows and something else. I have more of it but I can't find what I originally wanted to do with it so ummmm gonna have to figure that out lol. The color looks off but it matches really well.
This crinkly fabric will be for my windows....
Next will be my den/family room or whatever you want to call it downstairs lol.
I have those FUGLY wood panel walls that are OH SO 1970-ish and all of that is getting re-done. That will be in April. Soooo I am going to make some more throw pillows for my sofa and some new curtains...
And I THINK that is all lol. For now anyway! I do have some reviews to do....about 5 or 6 so I'll get those done soon. I have been sewing lol. Just haven't reviewed anything yet AND making plans for spring garment sewing lol.

The re-decorating bug has bitten me also. I think it is the anticipation of Spring and the freshness it brings. Just yesterday I went to three stores looking at some bathroom and bedroom things I want to get. I just need to narrow down my color choices. I'm excited to begin.

You and me both with the decorating bug. I painted my first floor the week before last on my vacation. My next project will be to do some touch up work and then put up some curtains.

You and my mommy! HL can be dangerous, because they have some of the best accent pieces ever. My mom spent a small fortune redoing her family room and all her accent pieces came from ......HOBBY LOBBY! She bought a beautiful trunk, rolled some throw blankets (cranberry, mauve, cream) threw in some swirly plant looking things that stand up, and it looks so cute. It's a place here called Old Tyme Pottery, YOU WOULD LOSE YOUR MIND!!!!! And their stuff is DIRT CHEAP! I love what you got so far. I am redoing my bathroom and bedroom, nothing major. I am always switching out my bathroom, and we are painting my living room right now. We should both post pics on our blog when we are done!!! Can't wait to see what you do with that yummy fabric, you say curtains, I say THROW PILLOWS........If I could sew, I would be a bad bitch. LOL

Me too. I have been decorating my place over the past month or so. Bought a new accent chair and bought some fabric (similar to your duvet cover fabric) to make some pillows for the couch to match the accent chair.
