I don't know if you can see it very well in the picture but I used a page out of an old hymnal that I got from the thrift store for this very purpose. I sprayed it with some spray to make it acid free. I actually love this look and plan to use this some more lol

Love these Adrienne! I almost grabbed an old book for this very purpose at the Good Will a few weeks ago... the type was not quite vintagey looking though! Yours looks great! :)

Great layouts. Thanks for sharing them and the tip re: acid-free spray. I've never uploaded a layout. Do you use scan n stitch, photoshop or something else to upload your layouts?

You know I feel like the "special" kid in regular classes for the first time, right? I'll have to look up all those initials. I've been thinking about trying to do one but damn, that looks very involved and complicated. Yeah, I'm sure you'll say start off simple or something but I'm smart and inpatient and starting off simple offends my arrogance. :o( LOL.
It looks beautiful though so I guess you can still remain on my mad scientist list. LOL.

You are very creative! I would never think to put all those elements together, and if I did I guarantee it would come out a mess and not as beautiful as your work. As I am scrap-ignorant I was going to ask what LO stood for, but I found out in Flora's comment! LOL

Girl, great layouts. I love the inked edging around the scalloped edge of the paper. Nice idea and really wonderful pages.

Great Job..UNfortunately, it is -31 (windchill) so I won't be running to the store. (I got my kids ready for school and didn't realize there was no school due to weather) LOL
