It turned out beautifully! Thanks for linking to the pattern pic too so I can see if I have it already or need to buy it (LOL)!

Sips -n- Strokes - it's like one of those "sounds dirty but it's not" jokes. We don't have those around here (I don't think) but it looks like fun!

LOVE that dress.. so classic!

That's a great dress, and step away from the paint brush, lol.

I don't think we have a place like that here, but how FUN!!!!

I love this dress! In fact, I think I will have to go any buy the pattern. I have the most perfect piece of fabric all ready and waiting for this project. And how do you manage to look so gorgeous in everything all the time???!!!!

You are running around in my mind stealing all of my sewing projects! Girl, this dress is BALLIN! I love this and of course I peeped those shoes immediately. Bangin' kicks! When I get to the cowl neck construction, I'll knock on your door. LOL

The dress looks great on you.

Nice dress! And your martini glass is great! Are you hanging your paintings up?

I love this pattern! It's on my list and hopefully will be made before month's end.

WOW!! The dress looks great Adrienne! I might need to contact when it comes to the cowl neck.

Very nice, makes me wish I didn't have cankles and could wear a dress, maybe I could make it longer and wear it with boots, hummmmm.

Okay I want to know where you are putting all of these paintings?!? LOL

love the dress--you need to start your own collection! and take special orders hehehe

Love the dress and the paintings. You might not want to tell her, but Kristy's Picasso does look really good!

Hi, I found your blog from another. You are one talented seamstress. You. . . are my inspiration lady. Thank you.

Blessings,

Sher

Adrienne - sorry you had problems with the fabric but the dress is amazing!

Lovely dress and lovely model!

Sips n Strokes sounds like a fabulous place. I wish there was one here!

Your dress is phenomenal! I love it! I have to get my sewing mojo on soon! LOL!

Cute! And you are working those shoes!

Oh man, I am so jealous that you get to do "drunk painting". I mean, I can do it in my house but alone isnt as much fun as with other grownups!

oh, I am loving that dress too! I want one!

*Rolling Eyes* I wanna go to Sips and Strokes, I'm going to email you my cell so I can make the next field trip.

Wait, Wait, Wait...What are you sipping on???

That dress is too cute. Where did you find the wool crepe?

Cute dress and I have to ask...Where in the world are you putting all of those great paintings you have made and sips and strokes???? I hope you are hanging them. I wish we had something like that here. It seems like so much fun!!!!

I love this dress! I may have to go find one in a store. I'd love a red one! That would be hot for my b-day outing.. Oh and everytime I read this blog, it makes me want to learn to sew.
PS. Glad you loved your trip to CHarlotte. It's a nice city.

That dress is absolutely GORGEOUS and you look like a Diva in it!! I understand how well it feels when we wear something so beautiful and well made, knowing that we made it ourselves!!

The dress is cute. I agree that well placed darts are slimming.

Wow it's great to see a funky young woman taking the time and passion to sew! Well done! I found your site because I am just about to make M5746 and was searching for tips.... about the cowl neck! Thanks for sharing your experience, hopefully it will work out ok... it's a beautiful dress.
