Time is going by SO fast!!! I have such a busy week and weekend then I'm going BACK out of town again Monday....only a day trip but DANG lol....
So lookie at what was being delivered RIGHT after we pulled in the driveway Monday....
Woo hooo... I have wanted one of these things for the LONGEST....Now I finally have it and not enough time in the day to use it. Maybe next week I will break it in. I also want to try my hand at making bread....we will see lol.
Let me introduce you to Crush...
We brought this little guy back with us and umm, let's go ahead and see who can guess how long he will actually live. The kids think that he is to be touched and rubbed like he is a cat or a dog...umm NO...I also don't like to see it running across my floor. Ummm NO. So how long will he live?? Any takers!? LOL
Yesterday Tony came in the house from doing some yard work and I ran and jumped on his back lol, Jaelyn was playing with the camera and was able to get a picture....lol
He said I was heavy lol...I hate him lol.
Here are a couple of pics from Destin...I'll add a few each post lol.
One of me and Tony at our very first stop....an ICE CREAM Place! LOL OMG, the icecream was sooooo good. Or maybe that was just because it was so hot? LOL
They had the best little backgrounds painted on the wall lol. I swear my hair and the humidity of Florida, do NOT get along well lol.
I also found a scrapbook store, but not JUST a scrapbook store, but a scrapbook clearance center! LOL
They wouldn't let me take pics inside, but there was a LOT of stuff in there. I thought since it was a clearance center it would be a bunch of junk but NO, I got some REALLY good stuff, that you will probably be seeing VERY soon! LOL
NO trip is complete without a fabric store lol
You will be surprised at the treasures you can find in a home deco store. I went to another one as well but didn't get any pics....
And I'll leave you with one of the kiddos....
Look at all that sass in Kayla.... Do y'all know she is like destined to be an AKA!?!? lol. Sorry Stacey lol. I swear, the child would wear pink and green all day everyday if she could. Tony's oldest sister is an AKA and she has drilled it into the girls lol.
Ok, that's it for me today!
Have a great one!
Toodles!

The week has gone by quickly!!
Haha! The irony of "Crush" name! LOL I give him a month the max! ;op
I luv both of those pics of you and Tony! Cute!
Mad you didn't get a pic of the yarn shop! Ugh! :o)

AKA????? Don't make me come down there to Alabama and throw my Delta Divaness around.. I can swing by and pick up Stacey and we can stage an intervention in the best interest of the child... Hmph...

Great photos! I love them! It's funny how kids get caught up in color. I was a red child myself. I still am! LOL!
I want a KitchenAid mixer. But my trusty Oster will do until it breaks!
Toodles!

Is he (the turtle) still alive?
Just kidding.
Posted by: Nik | July 02, 2008 at 08:45 AM
tell the babies they are not allowed to touch the turtle. i've had them for years. they are carriers of salmonella so just in case don't touch and if they do to wash their hands immediately after touching. and you need to get him in a 10 gal tank at least cause hes gonna get big and he needs a heat lamp and a place to bask so he can bask in the "sun". looks like a Cumberland Slider... do you know what he is??
looks like ya'll had a good time!

You're going to love the KitchenAid mixer - we got one a few years ago and love it. Last year I bought some attachments for it for Jim for Christmas and we haven't had them out of the box YET but your post is a good reminder that we should. We have the ravioli/pasta attachment and the sausage making one.

Just had to comment to say you are going to love the Kitchen Aid mixer! I lucked out a few years ago and found one on clearance at Williams and Sonoma. It's cobalt blue and I love it! You can make super huge batches of mashed potatoes or loads of bread/cookie dough! I know you guys will have lots of fun with it.
Kayla sure is a diva! How do you stand it? ROTFLOL!!

Ooooh you are sooo lucky. I've been baking EVERY weekend so I can justify purchasing one of those. Love the family photos. That's too bad the store would let you take photos inside.

We have a Kitchen Aid mixer and I have never touched it but my husband "the baker" loves it! He makes a mean pound cake with that thing. He loves to bake so that is his baby. I think Crush will make it until Christmas. And to Kayla - AKA all the way. The letters are in her name - don't fight destiny.

I think you knew that Scrapbook store was there before u went, LOL!!!! If u're like me I check before I go to any state. LOL!!! I hate to hear that Kayla has been ruined with that other sorority nonsense. Maybe she'll grow out of it, LOL!!!! Someone needs to expose that baby to THA REAL DEAL --OO oop!!! LOL!!!

Yup. Pink and green! When I had my daughter, my chapter thru me a baby shower. I don't think she had any clothes other than pink and green. That Kitchen Aid blender has been on my list for so long - maybe in the fall when it's baking season again.

Hi Adrienne!
You are going to love your KitchenAid Mixer and do I have a bread recipe for you!!! I have been making all of our bread for over a year now with my KitchenAid and it is easier (and cheaper) than driving to the store to buy bread. Your family will love it! I'm going to go post the recipe on my blog now. Mary

Great pix, Adrienne! I've been in that SB Clearance Center. It's awesome! As a matter of fact, there's one here too, right near Archivers. I know the manager of the SBCC here...so if you come, I'm sure she'll let you take picture, :-).
Take care!
