Whoo hoooo it's Friday!!!!
Today is going to be such a busy day for me but I wouldn't have it ANY OTHER WAY! What do you all have planned for the weekend!?
Let's throw it back!!!
I went to bed with Bob Marley...and woke up with him. LOVE THIS SONG. Crap, I LOVE BOB MARLEY!!! LOL
Let me make a confession.....my name is Adrienne and I am a box keeper. I was cleaning out a closet the other day (making space for my fabric lol) and I have SO many boxes. But not just ANY boxes...boxes that my sewing machines came out of...I still have the box my macbook came in...my cell phones..my cameras, lenses. I just didn't realize it...soooooo I decided to take them outside to our storage house...guess what was out there?!? MORE BOXES lol. I ended up breaking MOST of them down and putting them in the trash lol. I DID keep my sewing machine, camera and lens boxes in tact though. I did good lol.
While I'm confessing...I'm also addicted to knits:
And that's not even half of them lol. I SERIOUSLY love knits. WOW. lol
While I was going through my fabrics the other day I found this sweater knit:
and one with it unfolded:
I'm guessing I have about 2.5 yards. I have NO idea when I got this but I know I was with my mom because she has some too lol. Any pattern suggestions? I THINK I have a couple in mind but I haven't pulled them out yet. I LOVE the colors in this.
Then while cleaning out the closet, I found this denim jacket that I no longer liked but I LOVED the buttons:
I took all the buttons off and saved them lol The jacket is LONG gone lol.
OMG...y'all know I love to go to the spa right? WELL I went to a different one yesterday and I LOVED IT....I've only been to one spa I didn't like though lol. Those of you local need to check out Fusion Spa. I had a facial, the cleopatra body treatment and a swedish massage. An afternoon of PURE BLISS. OMG. I wish I could go back today lol. So glad I didn't have to drive myself back home lol.
Remember my plea for a Martha Stewart Punch!?!? Then I let you guys know that it had been found?!?
Well GUESS what came fed-ex???!?!
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes YES!! Thank you SO MUCH KIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I appreciate it soooooooooooo much!
I also got this one:
They are so similar....but Martha Stewart ROCKS!!!
And on a final note, I will leave you with some cuteness:
and one more lol
Is there anything cuter?? They are living in my kids playhouse LOL I wish I could keep all five of them...but Tony said that's too many damn cats lol.
Have a great weekend guys!
Toodles!

Lets not even talk about my collection of "bags". Shopping bags to be exact!
Gurl! I can't believe you have so many kittens! Haha!
I really need a spa treatment right about now!
Luv the song, I sho need to hear it! :o)
Have a wonderful weekend!!

Oh my gosh! I'm a box keeper too! Thanks for reminding me that it's time to purge, even though I really prefer to keep my gadget boxes. *Sigh* DH calls me a packrat...I must confess...I agree with him. Sad, isn't it? Thanks for sharing "part" of your knit stash. You have a beautiful collection. And I love your kitty pictures! They are sooooo adorable!
This weekend I'm hoping to finish a pair of shorts. I also have two sewing projects that I need to start thinking about. One is a purse/bag for a friend's birthday. The other is sewing myself a fancy garment for an upcoming wedding.
Have a wonderful weekend! Susan

Nice to catch up on all your posts. The little kitties are adorable.
I love finding old fabric that I love but forgot about too. And your ice-cream cookie has given me a great idea about what to try with the kids this weekend.

Put me on that confession list! Yikes- a ton of boxes in my closet! I just never know if I will need to pack any items away in the original boxes... maybe, possibly, dude I could need those boxes one day! LOL

I've seen that spa in Homewood, but I'm kinda "special" when it comes to trying new places like that without a recommendation. Glad you had a good experience.

Oh gosh... I join your club of being mad about knits.... I even detect that I have one of yours but in a different colour way... and the kitties... what can I say, they are a treat!

YAY!! And it's 18h30 here and I'm about to start my vacation!!!!! So what I have planned for the weekend: some serious cleaning (I want a "clean" start, ROTFLOL!), some resting, a nice tan AND, of course, some sewing!! (I could use a visit to the SPA too, LOL!)

hip hip horray for the weekend. We are going out Sat. to an adult get together - always exciting when you get to drop the kiddies off ...
I have more than enough housework to do - oh well I'll tell my husband it was too hot!

I love that knit collection of yours! I am addicted to knits too. I just bought a whole bunch of new ones the other day - I think we might have some of the same pieces!

I too share 2 of your addictions - knits and boxes. I have had two sewing machine boxes sitting in the hallway for weeks - trying to decide to part with them. I finally cleaned off the top shelf of the closet in my sewing space to make room for fabric stash but I put all the books from the shelf into one of the sewing machine boxes - telling myself that I'll sell the books on ebay. The fabric is now on the shelf, but I still have the two boxes. I'M GOING IN CIRCLES. I love all of your knits, you make beautiful choices.

I have always been a box keeper. That was until hurrican Katrina. After loosing everything, I have learned to let somethings go. However, I still have my camera, laptop and my daughter's Dora doll house box.

Oh I nearly had a heart attack when I read "I tore them down and threw..." All the camera gear DH and I have bought new, we keep the boxes and all wrappings... Every sewing machine (now DH rolls his eyes at this one...) box and all padding and trappings I also have. My serger and embroidery machine as well. If you ever sell it or have to ship it off to get it repaired, those boxes and styrofoam inserts really come in handy!
Nice bit of stash you got there. :-)

LOVE this song and Bob Marley so much. I used to live in the Caribbean and as you can imagine, reggae is huge down there. Brought back memories and a tear to my eye.

Are you and Micah related? He loves to keep boxes for things... but don;t you know, the minute I throw them out, the thing breaks and we need the box to return it! UGH! Glad you found your punch too!!

Thank you Adrienne for putting a smile on my with that song. Brings back old memories.
