i finally finished twilight yesterday and went out and bought new moon this afternoon and i am half finished- i can't put it down it's just too good!

Oooh, gorgeous Habu! Keep knitting... ;)

Oooh! Those shrimp and grits look divine! Thanks for the recipe. And a 5k, I was trying that, and then my knee started acting up. I think I'll try again an the fall.

Great post. I can't seem to get into the shrimp and grits combo. I guess I should take a big leap and actually try it. I never really cared for grits but I didn't care for oatmeal either and I eat it almost regularly so why not?

Good Luck on your purls!

Is there nothing you can't do!?!?!
The recipes look so delicious and the knitting wonderful (I have recently started again... verdict is still out).

Loved the Twilight series, didn't think I would but I did.

OHH that shrimp sounds good! I'm always afraid to cook shrimp! I should try it I guess!

Welcome back to knitting!!!Do tell what you are working on. Thanks for the recipes everything looks delicious. Have a great weekend!!

Ok Shrimp and grits must be a southern thing because I have never heard of it here, but it sure looks good. Glad to see you are knitting. The knitting bug has not bitten me in awhile but I've been sewing like I'm running a sweatshop. lolololol

Happy Friday Lady.

I wish I could snap my fingers and miraculously make those shrimp and grits appear before my very eyes. They look delish. I will have to be sure to try out your recipe. What are you knitting?

thanks for sunday dinner!!!!

I was just talking to this lady that I work with about knitting. I want to start. Is it hard to learn?

The shrimp and grits look really yummy! And thank you for the Rick James girl!! It is just what I needed to make it through my afternoon at work. I LOVE Rick James!!! LOL! :)

The shrimp and grits look so good. I am going to Atlanta next week and plan to have shrimp and grits at Atkins Park Restaurant because you recommended it.

Thanks for the recipes. I'm trying them BOTH this weekend! You run too!! You are amazing girl!

Thanks Adrienne for the recipe. I'm going to make ice cream this weekend...whoohoo!!!

Girl now I want some icecream...Homemade that is...

I've never eaten grits like that. It looks soooo good. I like my grits sweet and have only eaten them when I visit my step family in OK. I'm from the Islands remember. LOL

Will you marry me? I mean...that's what he'll be saying to me all over again. Girl. I tell ya. I had the BEST (and only) shrimp in grits I ever had in my life in Jackson, MS. I grew up on grits of course, but to toss some schrimps up in it? Oh dear sweet Lord I was in heaven. I been meaning to look up a recipe and I check in on you (not stalker style of course...never that) and what do you have up today. It's a sign (smile). Guess I know what's for dinner.

Apple pie, yummy!!!! But the shrimp and grits dish just doesn't sound too appetizing to me. I am a true southern girl, but I've never had it. Have a great weekend!!!

You continue to make me feel bad about not cooking for ummm how many weeks now....lol. The food looks delicious. Kudos to knitting with such fine yarn.

oh man! I love Super Freak!

Oh, Shrimp and grits - two of this Boston girl's favorite things! And you can NOT get decent grits up here, regardless of how much restaurants try to convince you otherwise. Adrienne, can I come and have grits at your house???

Super Freak...Oh my GOSH!!! :-)

Shrimp & Grits...2 of my favorite things. However, I've NEVER had them together. Can you believe it? I may have to try this. Thanks.

I am almost finished with the third book, because the fourth and final comes out like in a few weeks (I think!). Gary has read them all and loves them, and so has McKenna. They are so good!!
