When I first started this post, I had to look at the date...I did NOT realize today was FRIDAY!!!!! WOW
How about this for throw back? lol Was this 1986 or 1987?? Dang, HOW old was I? LOL
Ok, back to this week. PAST BUSY! Between my sessions, going back and forth to see my MIL in the hospital, trying to do everything else that needs to be done...I am TIRED! LOL Not to mention my mom's birthday is tomorrow and I have a couple sessions this weekend! LOL I love it!

Now, for some rambling...when I find something I just love, love, love lol. I tell you guys about it. This has to be THE best Shea Butter I have EVER had my hands on!!! I LOVE this stuff:
You can check it out HERE. INSANE I tell you!!!! I LOVE this stuff. Ok, I think I've said that.
Next on my LOVE, LOVE, LOVE list, is a drink my mom told me about...
OMG, this stuff is SO GOOD!!!!!! Totally addictive! HERE is their website. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good. I wish I could buy it by the case!!!
If you guys don't have THIS BOOK:
You are REALLY missing out! I've had it for a while now and the kids and I have all kinds of pages bookmarked!!! We are going to try out a couple this weekend, well that is the plan lol.
Yesterday I went to this "class" at Hancock. Now, it was said that we would learn all kinds of new techniques never before seen by the home sewing public. Hmmmm. Ok. For $7.00...I'm game. I was so there. NOW, the main focus of the class was the Lutterloh System. Now I have NEVER heard of this, so when the guy started going over the specifics, I was intrigued. VERY. Now it was very, very interesting to see him use this system, but not interesting enough for me to buy it lol. I don't have fitting issues. I can pretty much sew straight out of the pattern envelope with little to no adjustments. So while this wasn't for me, it certainly was interesting.
He also talked about some of the tools we use commonly while sewing and how to get better use out of them. To me the last 30 minutes was well worth it. But I am still a beginner and don't know all the tips and tricks.
I had to check Kayla out of school to get her ready to take some pictures yesterday...Here she is before we left the house:
*sigh* she is such a diva. Y'all just don't know! LOL
I had to snap one while she was getting her pic made :-)
She loves the camera!!! LOL
I have been doing a lot of reading. I put a goodreads widget on my sidebar. It has the reviews of the books I have already read. Right now I am reading The Killer's Wife, and it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good! I'm almost finished with it.
Ok, that is all I have today. Hope you guys have a fab weekend!!
Toodles~

Oh gosh that was a trip down memory lane. I used to do baton twirling when I was a kid and I thought I was soooo cool!

That's what I do everyday after work. Come in. Flip on a few mood lights. Get me a cool drink of water. Do a few stretches. Then I get it POPPIN'!
Kayla is too much! She's got the form down. I think you're raising a debutante!

That fitting system is really interesting - I clicked the link, and it is really different from other pattern adjustment methods I've seen. You are very lucky to be able to sew straight out of the envelope!

Okay prayers for your MIL.. best wishes to your mommy.. good luck with the sewing.. You baby diva is the bomb, I would look a mess in a leotard at this stage in the game.. AND damn you for making me watch that ENTIRE video and DANCE!! I miss the old Janet.

I sat in on one of those Lutterloh sessions at Hancocks about a year ago. I was intrigued with it too - but did not buy even though I wanted it I couldn't justify the cost. I did buy the sissors the man was selling and they are GREAT. I have seen the system listed on Ebay a couple of times, but to high for me to bid on.
Your daughter is beautimust! All of your children are.

My goodness, you have been busy! I pray that your MIL gets better and gets out of the hospital soon.
Miss Kayla is too cute! She loves the camera. She's a diva, you better watch out! LOL!
I loved the throwback song. I soooooooo wanted my hair like Janet Jackson's hair was in that video, but when I had finally talked my Mom into letting me get it cut like hers, I went to school and another girl had her hair cut like that. I wasn't happy about that. LOL!
I'm going to look for that juice and I love lotion, so I'm definitely going to check out that shea butter.
Have a great weekend!

Your daughter is very beautiful. When I was her age all the rage was to perform with hoola hoops covered in paper flowers, I don't think I have ever seen that done again...
